I'm having a hard time finding out how much DXM to take. I want to extract it from Delsym, and I don't have a scale (all I have is measuring cups.) As a 140 lb male, how much DXM should I take to reach 2nd plateau in terms of cups or bottles of Delsym? I went to a DXM calculator and determined my "pure" dose to be about 300 mg... and I tried converting it to ounces, and I got 12 ounces... do I really have to eat that much DXM powder?

I was really sleepy and i made a mistake of eating before dosing. So i was sick basically the whole night... I didn't stumble or run into any walls... I decided to give it another go since it was nyquil and i ate before dosing..... My next dose were DXM gel caps.. 300 mg. Whenever i listened i just felt like throwing up and i did... so then i was trying to look at hippy forums and concentrating on the comp screen made me sick as well. So i shut the comp off and i laid down and shut my eyes. I was much better off. I only threw up maybe another time after that. The first dose lasted about 4 hours the second dose lasted about 6 hours. I won't do any more DXM i think my stomach just doesn't like that chemical in high doses. I have considered trying a much smaller dose since both of those doses where really high. But i most likely won't.. I decided to try DXM cause i was interested in what dissociative was like. and note i forgot to mention: my second dxm dose my motor skills weren't great. I was stumbling and running into walls
How many mg of DXM powder do you get from a bottle of delsym? (using the simple water extraction method.)
I'd prefer to take it pure rather than have contaminants or other ingredients in it. I was hoping to use the syrup (Delsym) and extract DXM powder from it using the water method.
sweetie the gelcaps and dxm syrup is PURE look and read the container now if you get nyquil or something like that its not... i dont think delsym is either... but you can get all dxm syrup just have to read your labels
