Help with error running Zoo Tycoon

I installed Zoo Tycoon 2, i remember having it on my comp before, But when i try to run it now it says it does not support the type of graphics card i have. How would i get around this, or where and how much would a different graphics card cost? thanks

 

There are 2 modern types of graphics card slots.

AGP and PCI-E

First find out which you have (if any) and then I will give you a link to a really cool deal on one. I have found some really good deals on decent gaming cards.

I take it you're using an onboard video card. Is this a laptop? If so you have no options, and that card is smelly.

Can you post me the model of computer you have? For example, HP Pavilion 310C, or Dell Dimension 450Xn-SLI. If you give me the exact model name then I could look online at your specs and see which type of graphics card hardware it supports.

oh another thing, i installed the sims 2, and it lets me play that. I figured that would need a good graphics card too but i guess not!

 

You can't upgrade a video card in a laptop. sry

Ok. Can you get me the model of Dell Desktop it is. I can look on the Internet and find what type of video card you need. For example, Compaq Armada 7800, not just Compaq Armada, but I need to know the 7800 part too.

Be sure you dont confuse the monitor with the computer model. They will be different.
