help with internet speed

i am living in a jamacian jungle my internet is wireless i use the 3g modem its is very slow especially for video viewing how can iimprove the speed thank for your help

I would say find a new isp with higher band with . desert rat

 

Might try a faster loading browser or eliminating a lot of your add-ons.

 

first thing i would do is go to option on your browser and disable picture from loading maybe disable the Java applet unless you need it , block plug-ins ,block pop ups.

You could always try a different browser such as OPERA it is meant to use some compression techniques to increase download speed, google opera mobile settings,

You could get a 3g signal booster effectively it just a bigger Arial

3G signals do not reach far indoors causing a drop in internet connection speed by switching to the slower GSM/GPRS/EDGE mode.

Go to Tools>Settings>Connections>Destinations>Internet.. . Select the access point>Edit>Options>Advanced Settings>DNS Addresses
Type in the following addresses
Primary 8.8.8.8
Secondary 8.8.4.4

Try a downloading program that has multiple connections for downloading video.

There are so many things you can try i would have been more specific but don't know what times your O.S browser how you use or connect to the net Carrier the more info you supply the better your answer.
