    Hi all,
As of now I have a flower garden, some rose bushes, & the veggies are on their way into the ground (A little late in the season, I know, but I'm a busy girl!). I want to plant an herb garden because my father & boyfriend love using fresh herbs in their cooking & they are just so fragrant & lovely. I'd like to plant them in a box so I can bring it inside in the winter so I can have fresh herbs year-round. My question is this:
What should my spacing be between each plant? How deep should I plant them? I'm not using seeds; rather, I picked up some smaller plants - about 4-6 inches high. Does anyone have experience with this or any suggestions? Thanks!

plant the herbs about 6 inches apart and deep enouph to cover the root system about an inch.instead of a box,you might want to use pots.all my herbs do well in pots.some of my rosemarrys and basils ive had for years.when they get bigger put em in a bigger pot and cut back to encourage more growth.green healing thoughts
