I'm also looking into Naropa, it seems less fanaticly Buddhist than some of the others. I do not want to bring myself into a place of fanatism. What's so special about each of these schools? I do not live in the US, so a good push towards a good college will always help me. What's your major gonna be, it's hard to let you know of foreign unis without knwoing what you will study.
Prescott C. Audubon Expedition Institute U.C.I. Naropa U. Friends World Program L.I.U. are in the U.S. La Trobe U. U.C. Chichester Buckinghamshire U.C. C. Rockies is outside U.S.A. Where are you from?

Middlebury I know for sure has one of the best language programs in the USA... but definatly very hard to get into.
i've visited prescott college before...it is in northern arizona (not a desert climate..it is a forest environment filled with oak, spruce, etc) for those of you who want to know. the campus is small and inviting. a semester there consists of a single intensive 4 week(?) block class where you often travel followed by 3 classes taken on a traditional scheduling period. i loooooved the college when i visited it...there programs are interesting and experiential and the surrounding evironment is extraordinary. prescott is one of my FAVORITE towns that i've been to...its where i've gone to summer camp every summer, and the whole town is filled with nature loving hippies. it is, however, sort of becoming suburbanized, but the mall and suburban neighborhoods are on the ouskirts. i glad to see you are considering prescott college...i am, too...let me know if you ever decide (because i know i'm having a hard time deciding).
