Hey Kids, how's it goin'? By way of introduction; I'm a 60 year old hippie living on a farm in the hills of Shawnee National Forest. Been here 30+ years. Raised all my kids here...mostly as a single father. I'm on the cusp of another major era in life...retired from my job as a social worker and trying to refresh my spiritual feelings. Have spent some time with Lakota Sioux Folks and have worked some with shamons in Peru along the Amazon River. Still trying to figure out how to best feed my soul. From some reading in some of the many forums this seems to a be a gentle and real place. That feels pretty good to me. Life is good, life is fun. I've still got the last of my wild kids at home, a great, 13 year old son whose star is starting to rise...fun to be part of that. So long for now, Que Te Vaya Bein.
Hello! i'm new here too, so it's nice too meet another fellow hippie!! you seem like a really hard working dude, so i bet retiring is a well deserved action. It's a great time for spiritual enlightenment. I would recommend reading some books on Sufism. Talk to you later man!! peace n love
