I have a bit of a thing for classic American cars. My dad had a Cadillac at some point, with leather seats and electric windows (this was in the 80s). It's affected me a bit, too. I would donate a testicle to medical science if it would buy me a 50s Chevrolet.
When they deflate the cost of cars.. Maybe.. But as a chevy owner. Im done with this company and its cars. Ive had nothing but problems with My Trailblazer.. Ill be getting a Pathfinder next year.. NISSAN RULES.
i thought if you wanted to buy an American car these days you have to buy Foreign? aren't all the 'American' cars made in Mexico, whereas most of the 'Import' cars (to the States) are actually built in the US now? and hell no, would never buy a Chevy! *ugh*
Americans amaze with there phenomenal inability to to build engines with a decent power output without resorting to using displacements that would make a truck driver blush. I mean you get kids over here bolting off the shelf turbos onto 1.6l hatchbacks and getting more BHP than your average American big block. And don't start saying any shit about quality of petrol, there is still no reason a family car needs anything bigger than a 2l engine.
