Hey All. My name is Sahil, an Indian from New Delhi, currently living in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I miss days in Delhi where everything is so freely available. I'm into meditation, music, and spiritualism. Dubai is shit. I cant even find people here with whom I can share my experiences with the other side of the world so I joined this forum so I could find some people like that. I found inner peace within myself through all my encounters with acid, and I bet there are many hippys out here who are where I am. Cheers!
welcome sahil thats sad to here that about Dubai i had heard great things and wanted to make a pilgrimage at some point. i still will but thats kinda sad. however welcome to the forums i too am in the same boat with ppl in my area i plan to move to colorado for a while to get away from everything. much love
I've always wanted to visit Delhi. I really hope to go one day. Im big into meditation and also yoga but I have a back injury right now which limits my yoga. I have always felt very drawn to India. **Don't let fear stop you from dancing on the moon** LoriDenise
Hey welcome, I just joined yesterday. I loove Indian culture, studied it for years and would love to visit someday. I heard those raves in Goa are the shit.
Well....you're most welcome to India....humans living in this world have to visit India....you would love it!
Well Goa is the rave capital of India...you can score everything and anything there and you'll find amazing people to keep you company there.. but Goa isnt the place if you wanna meditate and explore spiritual horizons, that place is Rishikesh.....which is heaven on earth....trust me Thanks everyone for you warm welcomes Im lovin it here
Wasn't Rishikesh called Varnasi at some point? Or am I mistaken? i knew there was a city other than mumbai that had a different name. ahh so confused. lol
Rishikesh was called Rishikesh throughout.... Mumbai was Bombay Chennai was Madras Bangalulu was Bangalore Puducherry was Pondicherry Kolkata was Calcutta Basically the government changed the British names to Indian names Exception: Delhi (which is a British name) was supposed to be changed to Indraprastha, but it was opposed by many citizens since Delhi is the capital.
