I think there are a lot of cases where old graveyards have been forgotten about, then built over. There are also a lot of people who won't be buried for various reasons; cremation or other alternate ceremony, f'example.

 

I have a special request for when I die. I want my body to be thrown out a moving car and left on the side of the road.
