So the economy is crashing fast, food prices are starting to spike upward, people are getting laid off (getting laid is good, laid off is bad). Banks are pulling notes and are cutting back deeply on making new loans.

You have 365 days or less to get ready for a real bumpy life ride. What if your current situation holds for the next 300 days would you do to prepare for a year of no income, bills comming in if you kept your current out going situation, prepare for medical services not being available, extreme limit in utility services and fuel???

Just curious if anyone would make preperations if they knew for sure this is comming would they prepare and how??

 

I got a thing set up with my mother in law..me and my wife and kids would go live with her..her house is paid for, we also have been storing lots of food there..there is a fence around the whole property..as far as fuel..from this day forward, I will always make sure I am between full and half way and start filling up all my 5 gallon gas and water cans...and keep buying them and filling them..for real, things are not looking good..I have been seeing this for a few years now to..just think, about 3 years ago, even the crappiest house around where I live was $400,000..they would be lucky to get 150k now..crazy..

 

I guess we are all gonna die.

Funny as life is and how we want to control it it all boils down to that fact, we'll see what happens! Cant help it, life goes as life chooses in the end and for us all it will end the same (WE DIE). Rich, poor, fat , skinny, tall, short, black, white, asian, native american death shows no prejudice and we all end there.

 

ive heard that if all of this happens to expect that all families are going to move in together. and yeah, i probably would store up on things like gas, and food, even water. but damn, my little family is finally making it now after all of our hard work, and bad luck. we save alot of money by walking to work, and taking a trip to the store for food and supplies once a week. keeping our bills to a major minimum.

 

my timing is perfect.... apparently i've been ready for this moment all along...

 

i cant wait until we all die here and are reborn on a new planet full of rainbows and love!

 

no better time than the present to begin the stocking..some even critisize for storing..but they will be begging for food or water from you if something does happen..if there where no resources for awhile.

 

my mom stocked up back during the y2k freak out, and she knew that it may not be an issue, but she did it anyways, to have her family prepared and to take care of them. i would do the same, you NEVER know.

 

We've been doing this bit by bit.

Even sent emails out to all those on my email list to wake them up to this stuff. Not everyone pays attentionl.

but we live in a land where people are used to the ease of life. People are panicking....thats why its most important to NOT do that now. People forget they are people when they freak. and survival mode kicks in. Its gonna be bad.

cause nothing has ever happened in their lifetime..they just think everything will be hunky dorry..haha..but besides economic things, we also have natural disasters to contend with..no matter where you are..they will say I am a doomsayer..I like to be prepared..I was prepared for Y2K to and stay prepared..you really never know.

 

i think that ppl would rather ignore the facts. its easier that way to go along with their lives. but it really is a smart thing to do to be prepared. after the election, were all going to have to go through so many changes. basically, both canidates are going to fuck our country up more. just as always. except when clinton was pres, the economy was pretty good. so what if he got a little? gas prices were low, jobs were everywhere, and real estate wasnt shit.

 

i would like to recommend some reading material on the subject if i may.

this guy frequents a lot of forums on the net and has a lot of knowledge to share as he lived through the argentina crash a few years back..

while i dont agree with some of his views it gives a good insight into what we should be prepared for and what to expect in the coming months.
