How has everyone been? It's only been a week but I missed plently of you guys. Just had the BEST freaking vacation ever.... I feel like I'm walking on clouds it was so good. Anyways, question- I was (and AM) really bothered that the Crocodile Hunter died. I cried a little bit and it kinda put a cloud over me to a certain extent. Is anyone else sad about that or am I nuts? Hope everyone had a great labor day weekend.

Thanks. Missed you too. Did you get to go to the river? Anyways, yeah my vacation was just.... I think I needed something that great. Its been a while since I had that much fun. I'll post more about it in a bit in this thread. (oh, it sucks being home but I'm thinking about going back in a few weeks... for a long weekend or something)
Sad anyone dies normally but kinda happy the way he died, I mean I would believe he would want to check out in his element.

I think he would have rather died by a croc not a harmless little animal like a sting ray...... still, its quite sad..... he did alot for conservationism...... but hopefully this will bring more attention to his cause.
am i the only one who is not sad at all about him I mean its sad when a good person dies, but above and beyond that....
It saddened me. I learned a lot from watching his shows. He was cool. I feel bad for his family as well. It is good that he died in his element. With the crazy shit that he did, I am suprised that he lived as long as he did though. Prolonging the inevitable, with the lifestyle he chose.
Well yes... he died in his element and he lived a really good life so in that way it's not sad. But you know- he has a young kid, a wife and he wasnt old at all, ya know? Anyways, yeah, we were camping. We ended up staying an extra night. Friday SUCKED.... omg their were wind gusts up to 60 MPH and we had to put the tent up during that. There were puddles everywhere... wet, cold... BLAH! However, once we got the tent up it was okay Got dried out, went to a nice dinner right on the bay and then went to bed. Saturday it didn't rain at all and the sun came out so we got to go down on the beach. The waves, however, were pretty crazy. There were at LEAST 60 people out SURFING which I haven't seen so much in the Delmarva area but I had never been to THAT beach either. It was great, we got to take a cooler of beer with us and had a spot without anyone really close.... yeah the waves were BAAAAD. I only got into my waist that day. Then Sunday the weather was even better... about PERFECT... 80 degrees, not humid, no rain.... the waves were much calmer so I stayed in the water for a long time that day. Had some great meals... best bloody mary and breakfast ever.... (DROOLING here!!!!)..... an English muffin with poached eggs, real crab meat and Hollandaise sauce.... Anyways Monday was ALSO great beach weather..... we found a different beach in the state park area that I found a sand doller, three star fish, a about ten HUGE beauuuutiful conch shells. Well that's enough. I'm not writing a damn book.

hell yea, I would love to meet up! The good thing about October is that most of the bugs are dead, but the indian summer is still in effect.

Oh.... when you say "October".... I really like early to mid October but by the end of October it can be really cold sometimes, ya know? The ocean though (God, Im excited) is so nice and warm in Oct. that even if it's chilly out swimming is perfect.
