Highest dose of hydromorphone

Hey,

What's the highest dose of dilaudid you've taken? Orally, insufflated, but really looking for IV. I've been slamming for a while and don't get the rush anymore with 8mg, but don't want to over do it. I usually slam 8mg per injection and most of the time 24-32mg in an hour or two, but always 8mg at a time. I wanna know if I could just do 16 or 24 in one dose without anything bad happening.

Yes I already know shooting pills is a bad idea, but I use wheel filters and filter twice, I do the best I can to keep it clean, and will do it anyways no matter what anyone says.

Whoa - quite a tolerance you have there. I damn sure wouldn't go to 24mg. That's a lot of dilaudid - like maybe stop breathing. If you have to go 12 - then if that ain't it 16. Careful though - you can get such a high tolerance that you body just shuts down with the increase in dosage.

 

Bump your starting dose up a bit from 8.... try a little more till you rush... be safe!

 

Damn, i'm gonna stop for a while and lower my tolerance! thanks for the info. I used to be good with 4mg, but didn't know how to hit veins at the time, so I wasted a lot and poked through a lot of veins.

I've been on dilaudid orally and nasally for the past month, and last 1-2 weeks through iv. So fuck, hopefully don't have that much of a hard time stopping. I think i'll go down to 5/325 percs, then tramadol, then just otc pain meds over the course of a month. Then try the slamming again occasionally.

 

When I didn't have much of a tolerence I know 6mg snorted would have me nodding, and 3mg would give me a nice floaty buzz that if I smoked some weed and maybe taken a bit of a benzo I'd have easily nodded. Of course after a few months of tolerence I needed 24mg-30mg snorted instead of 6mg-9mg and I wasn't even nodding.

I never touch needles nor have I taken this drug orally but from friends that I'ved this drug they say no more than 2mg-4mg (that is 1/4 to 1/2 of an 8mg Dillaudid). This is the dose that my friends who have a tolerence to IV heroin take and they are nodding, most if not all say they preffer the Dillaudid IV over H IV (not because our H sucks but b/c apparently the Dilaudid rush beats the Heroin rush..and they mostly do it for the rush otherwise they woudln't be using needles). I would immagine for someone with no tolerence 2mg Dilaudid IV would be more than enough to have you fucked proper coma style.

 

Everytime I bang dilaudid I get this god awful feeling. The first time I did it I called the people I got it from because I thought I was dying. Anyone else experience this?

 

Maybe you just aren't used to the extreme rush it provides?
As far as only 2-4 mg with a heroin tolerance, I concur. My starting dose is usually 10-12 mg iv and it has never made me nod. hydro-m is good for a rush, but no real opiate buzz to speak of in my opinion.

 

I've shot it 7-8 times not that much, I've shot dope more than I can count. They were always 8mg dilaudid but hell no I wasn't used to that. It was just awkward the first times I did it

 

if you're going for 24 mg. in 1 shot, you better use a 3 cc syringe with a big point, (say a 23 gauge)... be careful though, the same body may react differently sometimes... i've done 32 mg. before in an hour, but never more than 8mg. in one shot.

 

With my experience with dillies is that yeah they are great but after doing 8mg doses insufflated a couple of times a few days apart i would try and do 8mgs again with little effect. It seems as though tolerance levels for dillies sky rocket after only a short time.

highest does i took was 12 pills. i cant remeber how strong each pill was but i think they were 4's........the were orange if that helps. I snorted 12 over an hour or 2 and my best friend did 6 we both ended up puking and my breathing was real shallow and forced and we were noddin off very intensly. Im a big guy (6'4 235) and 4 years ago when I was 13-14 I did a lot of pills from demerol to hydromorphone to oxys and pure codiene but i was off the pills for 3 years before i found some hydros in my dads medicine cab so i think my tolerence wasnt very high as i had only done a couple hydros out of the bottle i found before i took these 10. my experience was very frightening and i havent touched that shit since I advise you do the same

Only vets and phlebotomist need a 23 gauge needle!! Ouch!!

 

i've been at it for a long time... sometimes you use whatever is available... just so happens on those few occasions when i used that big of a point, i had to visit the tractor supply or a farmers co-op to get a rig... if you got the guts, you won't have to worry about the needle stopping up... i've got stories that would make you shake your head in disbelief... for example, have you ever shot (i.v'd) a placidyl (ethchlorvynol)? ... they were taken off the market years ago.

 

Now I have also been on opiates for many years and have never tried H, but I can take it or use 40 mg methadone with no issues. Obviously 2 ml of water doesn't take the full 72mg of opiate, as I can re-hydrate the leftover filler and still get effect. I don't like anything other than the 8mg mallinckrodt, like the new lannettes suck.

Like others have said, be careful and go slow. My tol. is very high I guess, but I do take this for very severe pain and if I have no pain I don't take any meds and can go a day or two without it. If you don't take it for pain then I would imagine it could get very hard to come off of.

Because I never get a nice amount of euphoria from hydromorphone, I recently banged 8mgs. Really wasn't impressed, the body high was faaar too intense and the euphoria almost non-existant. No nod or anything either. I don't know why people love this stuff so much, IMO OxyContin is expodentially better in every way.

 

Thank you! I thought I was the only one. I really hate the 'rush'. Morphine is great, heroin is great, oxy is the BEST, but hydromorph is...ugh. I only use it when there's nothing else available.

C'mon, really? That's a waste, the effects of hydromorphone are almost non-existant when taken any other way then I.V.
