Hip forums colour scheme

So I watched as the page loaded for hip forums And the purple back ground colour rely stood out.

I am stating that I like the colour scheme of hip forums and the colour purple they use.

I'm sure everyone agrees right?

The forum design seems a bit too turn of the century.

It would be nice if the threads blended in better with the background. Or at least didn't clash.

I Rather Like The Colour, The Only Gripe I Have Is That The

Clock At The Bottom Of The Page Is Purple On A Purple Background,

Making It Almost Impossible To Read....

i really don't mind the color scheme. it seems to strain the eyes less than some very bright or very dark websites do.
