I do think it's a shame about the trees, but really... if they really were hippies, they'd be trying to do something, not crying.

 

Trees are people too.

 

Although I too love trees, cutting down trees is not the problem.

The problem is a lack of resect for life.

The nature of life is that some life must die for other life to live and we should respect and honor the life that sacrifices itself for others. But in the world we now find ourselves there is no respect or honor, only greed, take what you want and leave the rest to rot.

I'm reminded of the buffalo hunt in "Dances with Wolves" where the Indians used every part with thankfulness whereas the "white men" killed and cut off the choice parts and left the rest to rot.

Well much more disrespect and Mankind will be the ones left to rot, while the earth renews itself.

Poor enviromentalists, it would suck to care so much about nature that the death of a few trees could cause you to cry.

I care alot about nature, recycle and such but god, if I see a dead tree, I usually just think it looks cool.
