I was just thinking how funny it is that every second August my sister gets pregnant. I'm pretty sure it's cos she and her husband have their anniversary early in August, and right after, her birthday. kind of sweet
Another thought. I experienced a miracle just this morning. It goes like this: Last night there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. So I went to the celler to get some more. Problem was, the key didn't fit the lock where the paper was. My host sister tried too, and I tried a bunch of other doors just in case. Then we figured... well, if we can't get toilet paper out of the celler we'll have to take some out of the downstairs toilet. None there either. I was praying and meditating before bed last night. I said all the standard prayers, to bless my family and friends and my host family, and make people happy, and help me be more patient, and help me concentrate better in school. Then as an afterthought I added: please put a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. Nobody likes to wake up first thing in the morning and have to use the toilet, and then find there's no paper left. And this morning I went into the bathroom and there was a whole roll of paper on the toilet paper stand. I asked around and nobody knew where it came from. So it's holy toilet paper. And I'm bloody serious here, God put that paper in the bathroom for us. He wanted to make our morning a little less stressful. Thank you, God!
