holy crap i have an erowid entry!!

i submitted this, and checked back a few times later (over a decent period of time) and it didnt show up.

i just now looked back, after over a year of having checked to see if any of my reports ever got put up (i've submitted a few, but never seen one put on there)

this was like 3 years ago, damn....its kinda cool

i haven't read through it again yet, though. so maybe i sound like an ass. idk, i'm gonna read it now

anyway, i read it, and i sound like an arrogant snob, as usual, but i guess that's to be expected. i think i've learned a little about humility since then, though. anyway, i remember it better having reread it. i definitely want to find some more. i think i know where to get it, but can't say for sure.

i did purchase a beautiful, hand carved stone snuff tube for DPT, and it has never seen anything other than DPT on it's inside. since i think i may know where to obtain some more, i think it's imperative that i try.

I have to admit, it's incredible how long we've known each other, not that it's been any more than a few years, but that for those of us into psychedelics, it's lifetime's worth to watch each other's vocabulary, experiences, reflective thought process, and general ability to express ourselves grow in those few short years.

Wow i hadn't really known about DPT until this post. From reading your trip reports and the tihkal entry it sounds somewhat similar to ketamine in its subjective effects, in that things like context and self-identity are manipulated; shulgin says he thought he was a mountain surrounded by clouds talking to him. thats kind of what ketamine does for me but even more abstract, i turn into a mathematical function, or pure spacetime, or some other crazyness.

Also the effects on music, again, bang on for K. holy crap the wiki article makes it seem like K + psilocin + LSD. but obviously its own beautiful thing. i must try this!

i can't seem to find any mention of its legality in canada, so i hazard to guess it's not been scheduled.

people are stupid.

and unscheduled substances get scheduled because stupid people take them on a whim and make asses of themselves....get arrested, post youtube videos of themselves "fucked up," distribute it to people who can't handle it, etc.

its not a party drug and not something that people should be taking carelessly.

yes, not only is ketamine the most widely used animal anaesthetic, its the most widely used human anaesthetic as well, just in the third world (where most of the world lives).

 

Well one thing i dont get is if ketamine is so intense, and on erwoid they say even experience psychonauts even have hard times on it and stuff, how would they use it as a human anasthetic for everyone? Wouldnt they all be having HPPD since they wouldnt expect it?
