Holy shit I'm moving to Key West!!

I just went there on vacation, and I found a place that's literally 5 feet from the water!!! And it's 100 bucks cheaper than what I'm paying for rent now...and I get to live alone!!! No more roommies!!!!!

And it has a pimp-ass outdoor shower, and my landlady says I get to paint it however I want!! I move in a week and a half...I'm so happy!!!

How exciting. Sounds like a good time. I am moving to Iowa in a week. Somehow, it just doesn't quite as nice of a ring to it. Congrats to you though, and good luck on your new place.

 

Key West Rocks, especially during Fantasy Fest Week. Just make sure you have that nice white resin patio furniture inside and know where the shelters are. Hurricane season started yesterday. And get good renters insurance.

renters insurance is KEY. it's cheap, too. don't forget to have some bleach handy.

 

oh dude, that is awesome. can you go swimming in that water or is it infested with whatever water-predator is prominent in the area? when I lived on the beach I'd just go for a dip instead of a shower in the morning. wicked.

 

meat tenderizer is the best jelly fish sting cure ever, besides urine. you probably don't want anyone to pee on you, so take the meat tenderizer.

i was born in florida, man. i'm not sure what the bleach is for, except making water drinkable and cleaning up mold. use eye protection. man, i totally want to crash on your couch now, SFF.

Hmm...never actually thought of renters insurance. I'll look into it. And hey--anyone of you is welcome anytime you want! I love having guests. I'm so happy! I finally get to live alone and write again. I've started writing poetry again for the first time in years!! And I can totally swim in the water! The only sharks they really get are the harmless nurse sharks, so, I'm definitely swimming every morning! Ahhh!! I can't wait!! You people need to visit me!

Hemmingway fest is on Key West. Pretty much everything is on Key West. And underwear, in theory, you could visit the rest of your life, but you would have to contribute via rent money, house cleaning, or cunnilingus. I'll let you decide.
