homemade bong ideas?

i mean aside from the old water bottle bong... i want to try making something relatively sturdy, with a decent bowl so i wouldnt have to replace parts all the time. and something pretty big too i guess. just something sorta interesting and fun to make.

They're totally a pain in the ass but it's literally almost all I smoked out of for an entire year.

 

Thats all my friend smokes out of.. so when i go to her place, i have to smoke gravity bongs haha. they get me pretty ripped though

gravity bongs are such a hassle. plus if im home i'm smoking in my room and im not even going to bother trying to carry a big bucket of water up here haha

i just want something easy to use, but big enough to take huge rips

 

Waterfall
I've made a bong out of an apple and a waterbottle.

I've made a lot of weird shit.

You can make cool bongs out of vases and shit like aquarium tubing. You have to have a glass drill though - and be very very very careful. (To drill glass, you have to have the entire piece submerged in water, too)

 

where could i buy aquarium tubing? like for cheap? and i'd like to do something like that, but with like thick plastic instead of glass... ideas for the bottle part? or how i should set it up? and also ideas for the bowl... thats always the hardest part it seems

 

if you don't want to do a gravity bong then go for the waterfall

has anybody ever used a Sobe bottle as a waterfall? There's a spot at the bottom of the bottle that makes a perfect hole in it if you hit it with a screwdriver and hammer. My friend does it all the time, it's pretty neat.

so anyway... i'd like to just make a normal bong... not like a waterfall or a gravity bong or anything. something i can smoke in my room and not have to worry about getting water everywhere.

From this you can make some wild pipes. Just be creative. If you know how a hookah works, draw inspiration from that. Tubing is fun! (pet stores will carry it)

Use like baby food jars and a faucet screen for a huuuge bowl or like a mouthpiece and attach aquarium tubing with some sort of sealant (plumbing or whatever - nothing too toxic, please)

yeah i mean its mainly just figuring out what to use for parts that works well. i'll definitely have to buy something cause i never have anything lying around the house but i dont want to spend much money.

 

Find like an old vase at a thrift store for like 50 cents, get a glass bit for a drill, make a stem out of a pen and a socket.

Read up on how to drill holes in vases and whatnot - from what i understand it has to be underwater and you have to drill very slowly. And wear heavy heavy heavy gloves because if the glass shatters it will pretty much explode and your hands will be toast

 

i think i want to stay away from drilling glass. what would be something sturdy i could use for the stem that would be able to support a socket on top?

how would a socket fit on there though? is there something better i could use? cause i dont really have the right kind of pens around my house so i'd have to go out and buy one, and id rather just buy something i can use right away than buy something i have to take apart.

That can be twisted apart and turned into a stem if you were so inclined. If you would rather, you can go buy some plumbing pipe...then just find a socket that would fit onto it snugly and toss in a faucet screen.

I'd just opt for the pen, personally. It's not hard to do.
