Or in this case lack of them maybe?

Well I find this a bit funny cause it even left me going "wtf is this happening"

But as some of you know, I'm a transsexual, and to help fulfill the goal of being physically female, for the past about 2 months now I've been taking spironolactone, it's an anti androgen, i.e. it blocks testosterone from acting on your body.

Now, for what's been going on, see I expected this at one point, but only after estrogen came into the mix. Mileage varies, but often the time for the first few months of that emotions kind of go all fuckin wacky and all over the place as your brain adjusts to estrogen, which does apparently in fact make you feel emotions stronger. (insert lolz women are over emotional joke here)

But so far for the past few hours weird emotional things that have never happened before happened. Perhaps it's for the fact with an anti androgen the only hormone by this time acting in my body is basically almost none with a splash of estrogen on top(yes men, you do in fact make estrogen), or something like this this
and I've been running a massive deficit of testosterone to begin with to help this to begin with.

But point is I was listening to neutral music, reading an wiki on a ship, and eating a sandwich, when all of a sudden I started to feel sad. Then more sad. Then I just started crying out of nowhere. And I still feel horribly sad and I know I'm not actually sad about anything, but this feeling won't go away, I'm just horribly sad over nothing. And this has definitely never happened before. Like I'm emotional to begin with, but there's generally been reason behind it.

Alright I'm done with my sad rant. fuckin hormones, or lack of them, or whatever. Fuck. It's just weird and not expected.

I'm not on hormones or anything, but I just wanted to say that this happens to me all the time.
In my case I have a habit of just spontaneously seeing the inherent sadness in something, whether it be the holocaust or the process of eating a sandwich

well, i dont know if its the same sort of thing, but sometimes i just need to cry. i just chalk it up to tapping into the collective of emotion. sometimes i feel like im very open to the emotions of others. i was having a particularly open, happy feeling (like a fill up my cup with happiness feeling) and my hubby got very angry about something politics related i think, and he yelled at me. not on purpose, but he didnt realize my happy, open state. i wanted my cup filled with love, not anger! and i had a complete breakdown. all his anger at society spilled into my open state and i cried hard for like an hour, and felt like shit the rest of the day.

i wonder if testosterone blocks connection to the collective mind. thats something to ponder anyway.

Oh but you are on hormones, all testicles and ovaries, along with the adrenal gland and something else I believe produce hormones! It's still just weird though, I mean there was nothing in my thought process to make me feel sad, I just all of sudden began to feel sadder and sadder, and I still do

Oh I just meant I'm not taking any external hormones.
I don't know what to make of it when it happens to me either.
Sadness is a state of mind, sometimes it's very obvious what causes it to occur, other times not so clear.
Funny how states of mind color things though, isn't it?

No, no boobs. It takes estrogen to grow boobs. And my nuts will be gone one day ideally with the rest of it inverted inside out.

I remember you saying that you were interested in changing sex, but not that you actually did it.

    Good luck holding through.

Hm, probably to a point, especially if you consider literally right after a surgery for where it was done. But it's all the same basic concept it's either standing or sitting.
