quarantine - i want my 2 hours back! it was not good at all. its a bit rediculious, and so predictible, i announced the end as it happened. tideland - it can be argued both ways, but i personally thought it was just horrible ...............
Thumbsucker was pretty good for a forced indie flick. Disaster Movie Date Movie Epic Movie Meet the Spartans E.T.
Love Guru was perhaps the crapiest of '08, although I'd be tempted to point out whatever one of those '... movie' that came out last year. As a cinephile, I consider these an insult to my honor.
Yeah. I actually saw "Date Movie" in the cinemas because those two asshole authors had a thing or two to do with the Scary Movie franchise (which, I think, was pretty funny at times) and fuck.. the horror. I've seen the first half-hour of "Epic Movie" because a bunch of dumbasses were drunk during a party and wanted to watch something extremely shitty and the owner had this in his computer. I went to bed, though. Same with "Meet the Spartans". Shame that there's a few really good actors that have been a part of those flicks. Those two fag authors should be banned from Hollywood forever. "E.T." sucks balls.
'Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas' w/ Johnny Depp-aggh, excrutiating-for a great HST flick, catch 1980's 'Where the Buffalo Roam ' w/ Bill Murray 'Saving Private Ryan'-by the end, I was rooting for the enemy...hate having the flag waved in my face
from dusk till dawn was ridiculous, it started off really good, but as soon as the zombie type bullshit happened, i hated it.
I completely agree with you all, those shitty spoof movies need to stop. Somehow, they manage to make enough to warrant more and more releases. Some other terrible movies I've seen, Automaton Transfusion (a craptacular direct-to-DVD zombie flick) and Kung Pow: Enter the Fist (the only movie I ever walked out on in a theater).
Oh hell no, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas and From Dusk Till Dawn are awesome movies. As for Saving Private Ryan, while I'm not normally a fan of war movies, even I ended up loving it.
