I just ate one and now I feel horrible about myself... I keep trying not to eat meat and then I do, it must be the stress.
I just found a new love for hot dogs this year. I used to despise them. They're best to eat when drunk.. cause then I don't have to think of all the nasty shit that's in them. haha
I hate hot dogs. Whenever anyone eats one around me I always tell them "dont bite into a vein" and then they can't finish eating it.
It was an organic chicken hotdog Even when I eat junk food, it's still hippie junk food It's more about the fact that I can never stick to anything that I decide to do. I decided not to eat meat and yet I keep eating meat.
you just gotta keep on reminding yourself lol. im trying to go vegan this time to loose weight and i dont like how meat kinda slows me down and i do like animals. seems kinda right but i had chocolate today. sometimes you gotta be bigger than your will power.
wieners are generally made with good meat...it's not as bad as most people think companies often use it as a way to get rid of "separations" though...separations are mostly bone and cartilage mixed with sinew that is separated during grinding Its hard to explain if you never seen the machine in action...this is the best I could find on the web http://www.freepatentsonline.com/4699325.html
Don't buy the hot dogs I found it easy to stop eating meat, but chocolate is the thing that gets me. I decide I'll try vegan again then the next minute I realise that I am sitting there eating chocolate
I was vegetarian up until about 2 months ago, but I needed to add meat back into my diet. I hadn't touched the stuff in about 8/9 years, and I still barely eat it. Personally, I just don't like the taste of the stuff- so now I just eat processed junk Either way, my point is you can put something back in your diet if it is needed, whether it is due to stress, health, whatever. It may disappoint you, but there are benefit to having some now and again.
I'd assume there are veggie hot dogs out there, much like there are veggie burgers. I haven't tried any. .
Much of the store-bought hot dogs in the U.S. are just junk. They use words such as 'made with turkey, pork, and chicken' because sounds good to the customer, but it's just the leftover by-products from those other meat products. When the industry does this with dog food, they say 'made with meat by-products'. Of course, if they used that language for hot dogs, it would turn people off. Decades ago, beef was a regular content in most hot dogs in the U.S. market. Today you have to look specifically for ones that have beef in them. Much the same can be said for those cheap nasty store-bought lunch meats. .
I was watching youtube videos of the classic Oscar Mayer meat commercial for the U.S. market. People in Europe were leaving comments such as, 'How the hell do you people manage to stomach that garbage?' .
