It is the hottest day here in UK today for 2012. I had to go into the city today for a meeting and I did not realise how warm it would be - got back sweating like a fat boy in a cake shop. The upside was that, as the sun brings out the idea to wear shorts and flip flops, I had lots of eye-candy:sunny: Now, though it still quite warm (1826) I have to get dressed again and take the Billski dog to park Hey ho, might stop off in the park's Cafe and have a Latte and see what I can see:sunny:
Hottest day in the UK!?! Bloody typical ...I nip over to Ireland for a bit, and it gets hot. Its been drizzly fog all day today here...awful climate!
all i want to do is sit on the common, smoking (not weed, i find smoking straights very relaxing) and listening to lovely, fuzzy garage rock at full volume, possibly reading. all i CAN do is revise for my exams. i can tell you this now, it is too hot to revise southern literature. especially as so much of it is given over to describing how hot it is.
Yeah, it's hot here in the netherlands as well Taking as much advantage of it as I can :sifone: Going to hit the park again at 5, now chilling with some good tunes!
Not far southeast from your place there are huge thunderstorms at the moment with large hail and all the rest, seems like I will get hit in the next few hours, hailstorm to cool down after the heat would be cool sitting in the garden smoking chillum and waiting for that ice to fall from the sky:daisy: our storms radar, red=hail http://www.meteox.de/h.aspx?r=&jaar=-3&soort=loop1uur
Apparently 24 degrees where i am right now at 4pm. Maybe summer has started, probably be over in a week.
Rain and storm have past us so far Around 9 pm it got really windy, like stormy windy which preceeds heavy rainfall often but it apparently blew over in the end. No natural fireworks here neither. But I've heard it rained hail somewhere in central netherlands in the evening
Like I said we didn't have any of that here. Don't think any houses were damaged though but it did damaged some car roofs apparently... Not unheard of but hail still feels weird on a hot summer day right.
Luckily we didnt get hit by hail neither but theres a wide variety of damages in many places here in the southwest - I spent some great hours yesterday and today admiring the big storm clouds growing and moving all around me. Just some drops of rain and its still hot at least the air arriving now is less humid I can already see the mountains in a distance again... Here a pic of one of those large hail producing cells over Germany yesterday
I think summer might finally have arrived in my bit of Ireland....I actually saw the sun today! Which is good, cuz im pretty sure I was vitamin D deficient...
