I think that the US will be worse off becuase he is in his second term which means he cant get re-elected, which means he can do whatever the fuck he wants.

bush in office means we have to work even harder to keep him from too much destruction and revoking rights.

It's not the end of the world, but maybe it's the end to 100,000 more Iraqi lives, along with the end of a 1,000+ american lives, and the end to abortion in america, and possibly our freedom of speech, and our privacy. It will be the end to a lot of the environment, the end of any oppurtunity of making homosexuality socially acceptable, and its defiently the end of any oppurtunity to make the world a better place in the next 4 years. So maybe the world won't end, but we're still progressing towards the end, and I want my kids and their kids to have a planet to live on. Of course we shouldn't run away, but we also need to quit whinning about making a change, and this bullshit talk about revolution. We need to do it; talk is cheap.

Like the girl said, we aren't any worse off than we've been the last four years. He is going to keep doing the same things. His agenda hasn't changed, we know what he is about... At the end of this term, will we be worse off? Probably, yes. But right now, no.

And like the girl said... We have to fight. Yes, Bush's policies are bullshit. But running away and laying down are not going to change it. We have to do something about it.

Yes, there is another four years that he gets to weaken environmental laws, rape, pillage and burn the Earth. Help the rich get richer and the poor get poorer... But not if we keep a close eye on him.

Get involved with grassroots movements, join protests, pay attention to the watchdog groups, become active, write to your representatives. There are things that can be done, to help end this...
