if my weed has mold on it what would it look like? would i kno for sure that it has mold on it. the weed i had looked like it had a little bit of white on it, almost like little hairs, but kind of hard to notice. idk if it was mold or not. If it was mold and i smoked it would i experience the symptoms soon after or would they occur over a long period of time?
I wouldn't touch it. People don't realize that weed does expire...and it's usually not long after it's taken off the plant. Think of it as a flower-a flower dies after a few days/a week after you pick it. Weed is the same way.
Properly dried and cured plants, weed included, can be stored for months, even years. It's a matter of drying it to the proper moisture content and sealing it in an airtight container. I know smoking moldy weed isn't good for you, but I have survived numerous occasions without killing myself. And yes mold can look white on a bud.
Back in my party days, I came across some that may have been moldy or just bad, naturally we smoked it any way... but later I learned that if weed wasn't dried right, the moisture and wrong drying temperature may cause it to have an ammonia like smell that may be caused by the mold. So if you're not sure about it, then flush it or bury it. Don't chance getting sick. There plenty more out there. Peace
I had a bud go moldy once, it turned dark grey and was squishy and felt like a cotton ball and it was powdery. I didn't want to smoke it, but my friend did, and his face did the talking. I've seen some funky white stuff on bud before though. Im not sure if its the same, it almost looked like thc clumped together, but it wasn't. I'm not sure if it was mold either. you can noticably see it when its gone way too bad
