How dangerous are shrooms and acid?

I really want to try one of those, at least once in my lifetime! What's the best and what's the difference between both? I'm a real noob when it comes to heavy drugs, if anyone can give me explanation. However, i have second guesses about how dangerous they are..any long term effects? can u get depressed after your trip? I'm a happy person, not the happiest, i get my sad moments but im all right. I've quit weed, that shit would get me tired and put me in a down state the next day.

shrooms and acid are physically safe drugs that have no known long term affects from occasional use, they will not cause any mental damage in an already mentally healthy person

but if you think they are too dangerous (im not sure why tho) then dont do them. if it will only take one post from some random drug user in another country changes your opinion on whether or not to take mind altering drugs, then you probably shouldnt take them anyway

Mushies and Acid are not "Hard Drugs, or Heavy Drugs"... They are soft drugs, but they can sure fuck around a lot with your head...

Erowid is a good place to start, and may even give you a peek into what to expect. Don't just call drugs hard drugs because of what you belive them to be... do a google search... reaseach... find reputable soruces of info (science journals... not propoganda from your government and lies from your school)...

But again... don't take something you don't know much about... or because we told you to on a forum.... Read about them... find out what they do... what you can get out of them... then... you'll know if you want to do them or not without us giving you advice on it...

Oh, sorry, one more thing...

Hard drugs would be more like Heroin, Coke, Crack, shit like that... Those drugs are not really recreational drugs... people do them for particuar reasons - sometimes people may experiment with them... but usually life cercomsances are the culprit... i.e. I knew a woman who was sexually abused for years as a kid.. her life was a mess afterwords... ). To quit those type of drugs.. You have a lot of shit to fix in your life... its not just a matter of stoppign them, and trying to stay clean...

I've been reading alot there (not only mushrooms and lsd but other stuff too) since yesterday and learned alot of things, that site definitely helps! I know I'll never do heroin,crack or stuff like that in my life, ever. So far my summer sucks and I wanted to try something new but I know I won't, like I can't do it alone, I need friends. And most of my friends are the anti-drug people, well they smoke cannabis but it's like they only stick on that. It's not that i want druggie friends, just normal friends that want to try something new. I'm no big fan of drugs either, I just wanna see how mush is.

Just don't abuse them and they won't abuse you. Be smart, be responsible, try to learn something and it'll probably go well. Just remember-GOOD VIBES are a must. Always remember this.

But they actually aren't physically dangerous, but if you have underlying mental illness in the family I strongly advise caution, for hallucinogens could bring them up.

Just read some more on erowid.org and know what you're getting into and all will be well.

 

its as dangerous as the user that takes the medicine. If you are a terrible person you'll probably have a bad time, but if you go into the trip with a open heart and mind then the benefits will be given directly to do. Situation and surroundings, two factors in determining the quality of the trip.
