Seriously, glam metal was tougher than all these Metalocalypse wannabes I see these days.

I agree. I am particularly not a fan of the invert "scream"/cookie monster/piggy squeal phenomenon. Some of the instrumental is pretty good, for some of the bands, but the vocals always kill it for me...

 

There's more metal with clean vocals than growls. Just so ya know.

those little teenage pussies hang out at the mall and annoy everyone. two of my friends (a couple) were in line at the movie theater a couple years ago and the little group leader said "hey, your boyfriend's titties are bigger than yours!" to her. my obese friend, who is not one bit physically imposing, laughed and said something like "little boy, you wanna take this outside?" the kid says "are we vikings? no i don't wanna take this outside! we don't use violence to solve problems nowadays!"

I was out with my sister and my girl, and she pointed him out from afar, and said that he straightens his hair and dies it black, he even had the (seemingly required) black band t-shirt with red font; and I was like "well he has to seem more metal" and put out a metal hand and made a face.

I mean, I can see where that may have been a dumb idea, but I was just joking around having fun, and when we got up closer to him, he gave me these evil eyes; so I called him a pussy. He kept walking.

never like the metal shit myself. punk and underground shit has been my type of thing.
anyhow about a year a group of teenagers were making fun of this old metalhead dude downtown at a bus stop.
well, that "metal dude" was a homeless vet, whom had been in and out of jails and mental hospitials, a billion and one times. he never stayed on his meds.
the guy is super fucked up in the head!
he pulled out a bowie knife. killed 3 of the kids and sent the other 4 to the hospitial. 2 more died in the hospital.
the police had one hell of a time subduing that guy.
it took about 12 cops to get him down and handcuffed.
and that was with repeated pepper spraying, beattings with nightsticks, tazings and, shootings with bullits!

duck, that guy you fucked with could have super fucked crazie too!

I'm so glad I don't have these troubles with all these posers (cause that's the peeps you seem to be talking about, the teenage scenesters, not the metalhead in general). Although I have to say I prefer almost everybody above gangsterhiphoppers. They're so hilariously misguided I can't take them serious. But yeah, you have those peeps in any subculture.
