How did you find Hip Planet?

What was the thing that bought you to this site.
I was using "Hippy" as a search word to find like minded people and it took me awhile to even figure out there was a Photo Gallery. It's now years later and I have seen many awesome people here grow older and wiser. Top of the list Myself.

Older yes, wiser....... Just kidding.. I have pretty much the same story. I found this site a few years ago when I was homeless. I would use the free computers in the library, and was trying to figure out where all the hippies go. I figured if I was going to be homeless, I might as well be homeless some where cool. I didn't even make a post for probably the first year, just read what everyone else said.

I was looking up info on weed, and somehow ended up here.

 

My friend TRAUMA showed me this site around christmas 2003,. I was living in AZ and we were co-workers at the time.
Unfortunately he doesn't post here anymore & deleted his gallery...I saved this pic of us together from when he was showing me all the cool things on his computer.

hmmmm i cant remember how i got here.... but i know it was during my exams and i was bored and surfing the net...

 

I believe I was searching for fashion forums.

I was bored in the summer, so I just surfed a bit for some hippy sites... Then I found hippy.com... Surprise surprise

I saw there was a forums, but I've never really liked forums so I just skipped it... Then I got a bit more bored, cause all my stupid friends were on family thingies and there were hardly any parties, so I signed up

And now, well lets just say, I'm extremely glad I did

Funny I was homeless too at the time and was using a Library PC. Was also a great place to catch some sleep!
My old Hippy skills kept me alive thru my homeless times too.

I share the same exact story.

 

I was looking up Communal living...and found hipforums....

 

I slipped fell flat on my ass and there I was!

i was looking for hippie clothing found the fashion and crafts forums then used the chat for awhile then joined the rest of the forum back in 2001
