I know the question's been asked before, but I forgot everyone's answers and searching the archives would take way too long for me to even attempt. So tell me, tell us how you found the glory that is HF.

I found it while Googling "long haired hippy boys" in search for a hot guy online. Haha.

Really? Wow...I was googling sex forums and found Hot and Horny, and I never looked back since...

 

I found the hipforums after I spent some time in the chatroom..... and I started to go to this site because of some girl I met on ICQ back in '99

 

I think I was poking around in BigBoards..
Every forum was for something like sex, or cars, or whatever..I just wanted 'general discussion'.
..I used to go to dead shows..So, when I saw the name I figured I'd try it out.

 

Three summers ago I went on a family trip out west and we drove through Alturas, CA and the National Rainbow Gathering was just "ending", so there were a bunch of "hippies" hanging out in the town. We stopped there overnight and I met a few people and I got to talking to them and found out they were Rainbow kids. When I got back from my trip I looked up "Rainbow Gatherings" on google and found out about the Great Lakes Rainbow website and posted there. Someone on there suggested checking on this website to find out about gatherings across the country, so I did...and I've been here ever since.

 

google brought me to the marijuana forums... Stuck around because its something to read when I'm bored or cant sleep

 

We went to the rainbow gathering up here and my friend stepped in a shit hole with his bare foot...Good thing he was drunk.... Nothing like family...

 

I fell in a shitter at the Nationals this year in Colorado...I cried like a little girl. I had shit all over my pants and boots...luckily I was not barefoot, I would have barfed.

I had a pretty terrible time at the National Gathering this year...and falling in the shitter just topped it all off...

We left soon after that....but not just because of the shitter incident.
