how did you find your way here?

so i've been vising this forum for about a month now. After a bit of reading, it's easy to tell who the regulars are, and that i seem to have shown up during a lull, or a hiatus. people always talking about how the forums were, and these types of jokes where you had to be there, or inside type jokes-- it's not hard to notice.
so i thought i'd ask everyone, how did you find your way here? did someone tell you about it? did you read about it somewhere? by accident? through surfing?
me, i had some weed questions that i wanted answering. i'd recently come across moldy weed etc, and wanted to ask many ppl's opinons. after a bit of searching, this seemed like the right place to ask.
then i noticed it's like a whole subculture; i can appreciate what this place is. it's nice to be able to talk to ppl with similar interests, and to get people's ideas, tips, and opinions, when normally you'd be limited to the circle of friends you currently hang out with.

 

I believe I did a google search on "Hash Oil" and it led me here and I liked the vibe and hung around.

 

to tell you the truth i don't even remember what made me start posting on internet forums haha i think i had a question or something and once it was answered i just decided i'd stay on cuz it seemed pretty cool. but anyways i originally was on cannabis.com and i came across the hipforums while i was using that one and hipforums is way better lol

 

yeah, I came over from cannabis.com when it started to die. I just did a marijuana forum google search, and this was one of the results. the rest is history. hey, poster above me, what was your username on canncom? Mine is the same, well, was before I got banned. lol

 

Through google, I think I searched marijuana forum.

 

God, that was forever ago. I think I was like, twelve or thirteen when I first found hipforums. I'm pretty sure I was googling something about drugs. I was a trashy kid. I googled things about drugs when I was small.

I can't remember but I stayed.

 

I too googled some shit and magically found the HipForums.

I think I was looking for information on San Pedro cacti and Peruvian Torch cacti, which only took me to the archives. Then I saw something in the archives about both the marijuana and the psychedelic forums on the site, and I followed the trail and found this place. Been here ever since.

 

I was just surfing around i believe.

 

I was searching google. I think that was one of the best days of my life, finding all of these friends. I think of some of you as closer friends than my local friends.

 

I was on google, searching for what others found to be the best movies to watch high. This was the top result.

 

^As do I. But ive become pretty anti-social in real life since i started coming here. This past year has been crazy. Ive just been cruzing through life, getting high, and working my ass off. Its hard to go out and meet new people when your leaving in a few months.

 

Yeah I've made some good friends here, mself.

 

hipforums is the social side of me.. in RL.. im not social at all.. i'd rather sit at home a get high all day.. or be out in the middle of no where fishing.. than be around people...

btw... google helped me connect with the HF.. i dunno what i searched for.. shit that was a long time ago
