Were you named after someone (famous or just a family member)? Did they just like the name? My name is Angelina, I'm named after Joan Baez's song "Farewell, Angelina". My parents are fans of her and they just liked the name.
My parents picked the name Christine because it was the name of my Great Grandmother (although, it turns out that her real name was Anna, so that should be my name and I wish to God it was!) Anyway, it's kind of cool because I look exactly like what my GG looked like at my age.... freaky...
Chrisopher jus felt right fer 'em. It's wierd, my dad wanted to name me "Wilmer" an my mom wanted to name me "Random", but I wanted to be Christopher, an Perry was my grandpa's name
okay, my real name is lisa michelle, michelle is feminine of michael, which is my dads name, and thats how i got the name shellie. dont know where they got the name lisa, I just know that I have really never been called lisa, its all good, I dont really like the name lisa.
Give it a rest shellie, would ya. We all know you are the worlds biggest Kansas fan. post scriptum: I just read the post and realized we were talking about real names here *ducks*
metro... my full first name is "trisha" i used to watch it too but there was no trisha on there then. apparently that was before i was born (1980)
Ok, nothing special here. Around the time I was born in the mid 70's my mother thought the actor Ryan O'Neil was a hottie - hence, there's my name. She never told my pop about this though. I think he bought her, "O hunny lets name him Ryan as its a good Irish name," and he just went along with it. Yep that's me, named after one of my ma's fantasies :&
i dont know. i think it's odd how everyone knows my first name, but that's just me... i am very open. *bashes my head into a wall*
(laughs) you are lucky you ducked dhs. aka ryan the hottie o'neil!! hmmmmmmmmmm? really wonders if dhs, aka ryan the hottie o'neil is as hot as the guy he is named after.
after my dads childhood dog lisey they were going to call me jenny...no jennifer just jenny thank god for that damn dog
I believe I was named after the pitcher, Nolan Ryan, so thats what I was told. and ryan patrick is a good irish name I guess.
It's kind of strange to me.... My dad knew my mother ever since they were just young kids, and he said that for some strange reason, even back then, he knew he would marry her an have a boy named Nathan... Another strange thing about my name is that all three parts of it (First, Middle, and Last) have six letters each.
wow, you are the second person this evening to express a curiousity in my appearance - I'm kinda diggin' the air of mystery
My mom named me after the one girl in school (probably) that didn't tease her. Most kids made fun of her for having epilepsy. A friend's young daughter named me Sunshine a couple years, so I use that name alot. Have even thought of legally changing my name to Sunshine.
