I'd never do that to my dog. I wouldn't want to take any chances... Plus...she didn't get a say in it. I realize she can't speak to me, but I wouldn't want to force drugs on her, regardless of if she'd actually like it or not. I just wouldn't feel comfortable or right doing that.
I smoke up my dog all the time! She is a hardcore pothead. Whenever I break out the ganj she comes runnin, sniffing it, wagging her tail, and rolling over playfully. She puts her nose up in the air and wags her tail while I smoke it and i exhale some smoke lightly in her direction. Once she has enough she stands by the door until I let her out of the room, then she proceeds to munch on some food and wonder around. My friend's cat does the same thing. It ussually doesn't like being picked up, but once it smells the ganj on our hands it doesn't mind and then it sits on the table or couch while we toke and blow smoke its way. Once it's done it walks away and munches on cat food.
honestly, nirmalamaya, if you don't like to do it, fine, don't do it, but for those of us who don't have our heads up our ass and realize that a dog is NOT a child, we'll do as we please, don't come here to preach. like many of the people have said on here, they only do it if it's not forced, if the dog is going to sit with you during a session and NOT leave when the smoke comes his way, time and time again, is that really much of a difference than people? they're choosing to become intoxicated, so if it's their choice, why the fuck should i tell them they can't? i'm not gunna smoke up a baby cuz they're still developing, i wouldn't even smoke up a baby dog, they're still developing, but if a full grown animal wishes to sit in during a session and not leave when smoke comes their way, they're choosing to be there and i'm not gunna stop them.
my dog steals my roaches sometimes. he likes to eat em and just chillllllllllll. it's fine with me. but i personally don't try to get my companion animals high, but if he likes the feeling he gets from eating roaches, that's his choice.
we used to smoke up my friends cat lemiux. after we would get it high it would walk over to a corner and just sit there with his eyes closed then walk over to his food dish and start eating.. we would laugh for like 15 minutes straight
I don't think I'd support that...just like I wouldn't support smoking up a person who might be paralyzed and in a state in which they can not make the decision on their own. But that's just me.
thankyou gratefulvegan, that's totally what i'm getting at, if they make the decision on their own, i don't see what's wrong with it
