so my friend lights the lighter with his pointer finger and i thought it was wierd. i light it with my thumb when im smoking bowls and my pointer finger with bongs. i was just wondering how everyone else lights up. Im bored in school so dont mind the stupid thread.
when im rather out of it i prefer to use my index because it feels like im playing an instrument "the song of the bong" i normally point my thumb to the flame and hold the lighterso that both of the longer lenghts/ sides of the lighter are vaguelly parallel to the ground. i think thats the best way of describing it. the other alright method is to have the thumb pointing out to the side, and the flame part of the lighter on the up-side, so that teh flame comes out above the thumb and thus doesnt touch it. thumb pointing to flame on its side has been my favoured style

most minds like yours could never comprehend the literature of bill. anyway i use my index finger and my thumb. its easier with the index finger
yea, well my weed is so awesome that i dont even have to visualize the flame, i just sniff the bud and im high

usually i like to try tricks with my zippo... striking on leg, snapping, flicking it open and lighting it in cool ways... that's usually when im by myself though usually just light the normal way, using my thumb
