There are things that you can do to open your third eye. Most folks are psychic to certain degree. You also really need to trust your perceptions. subtle feelings. senses. I am currently learning to remote view and astral project and can do both. But my visions are not as clear as some folks are. Stay away from "new age" garbage. example Anything from Drunvalo. New age stuff is generally CIA fronted. And is NOT heart guided. But instead operates on the lower chakras. get a piece of Lapis Lazuli and place it on your third eye. lay down and leave it there for a while.... Or I can give you an energy boost in hopes of opening your third eye. Are you energy sensitive at all? Can you see auras around living beings? Were you able to see them as a child, but lost the ability. Have you seen any etheric beings? Try making some orgone divices. www.educate-yourself.org and read about the chemtrails, orgone. some people claim that elimanation of all animal products from their diets help. I don't know about that. It is not something I have tried. I was recently working with a young man in Mexico. I'm in VA. We were in Yahoo chat. And he was talking about trusting his perceptions. So, I began to send him energy thru different chakra stones and asked him to tell me what he saw, felt. He got the colors of the stones correct and the locations on his body. I did not tell him untill after the little excersize what stones I was sending him. also, stay away from alcohol or "illegal" drugs. these substances alter the bodies ability to perceive and percept feelings, sights, tastes etc. And also it allows the negative forces of those that control these substances access to your higher being. None of this stuff is quick. I have been learning to remote view and project for quite a while now, and some days are definately better than others. Energy boosting I do dialy. To my kids, freinds, and a few other "choice targets", etc. I hope this helps some.

According to the crystal bible by Judy Hall Lapis opens the third eye, and balances the throat chakra. It stimulate enllightment and enchances dream work and psychic abilities. i belive that it is a gift and cant be taught... and trust me there are fakes out there.. i dont think there is some bible or instruction booklet for it.. period.. and the same goes for astroplaining and astroprojection.

wow, I did a search and found this. I just wanted to say is that this statement is very ignorant. I have been practicing the Merkaba for several months and all I can say is that it opened my heart a lot. All I feel every day is my prana flowing through my tubes to my heart and my heart is just exploding with energy and love. I also have a connection now with my lower and higher self. My whole perspective of life has changed, all I live for is love, and everyday I am just so thankful for living on this very planet. I've experienced things that I never knew could be experienced. If I concentrate on my heart enough it feels like I'm on a pleasurable drug like ecstacy. I am balancing polarity consciousness. Wow, theres so much more though. I just can't believe how amazing the flower of life is. Its got to be one of the only things out there that I trust. There are reasons why I really trust this but a lot of people would think I was crazy if I said it. Read about drunvalo and try his exercises before you give opinions about him to others that have no clue who drunvalo is.
I read a lot of Sylvia Browne.... Check out the website www.llewellyn.com and look at thier array of titles. Why not get a deck of tarot cards and learn to read them intuitively? (A good title is "A Magical Course in Tarot" by Michelle Morgan) This will open you up to your intuition more. And also, certainly check out books about connecting with your spirit guide(s). You can always practice with Zener cards, too. Or a regular deck of playing cards. Check out the different forms of divination. Be open-minded.
I don't know what you're doing on hippy.com. "Stay away from "illegal" drugs." Cannabis Sativa is classified as an "illegal" drug. It is a sacred herb placed on this planet along with mushrooms by the Creator so man wouldn't forget his origins. Psychedelics make one psycho-active; i.e. DEEP, intuitive. Do you recommend "legal" drugs that are being pushed on the public thru the media that are killing people daily and totally fucking up their biology? I, too, have touched bases with Drunvalo Melchizedek. He is an amazing man who has done amazing work. I think you are CIA.
"Becoming" psychic? Everybody is psychic, all the time, 24/7. Some are more aware of it than others. Would you like to become more aware? Simple--meditate on this, and see yourself being more aware. Your mind is one of the generators of reality, not only in your perceptions, but in "real," physical creation. You have already been doing this all your life, subconsciously--try doing it consciously, and see what I mean...
Amerika The Ugly - that handle just hit me. Since this is the psychic forum, you might want to look at your projection. Yes, there are many things about our culture that are ugly but the Universe always balances itself, so there are just as many things that are beautiful. What you put your attention on is what you get! Start looking at beautiful and that is what you will see. I prefer the Native American point of view - America is a gift from the Great Spirit. Let's honor that and be good caretakers.
ever since i was a little girl, i'd hear voices when i tried to fall asleep. it took YEARS to control them-like a switch, on or off. then i began to see things, like random people or objects. then my mind expanded to hearing loud noises in my mind that'd freak me out. but it's always interesting to hear what other things have to say to me, i have yet to sucessfully communicate with them!lol. my friends into this and is getting help with her powers, too, i guess you can say. so she's been helping me in return. the other night we delved deep into a problem we both had, and the things that came to me made me almost physically weak. i think most "psychics" (i dont like that word) were born with their talent, but i think if you work HARD enough at it, you can harvest it. but i think it takes longer than the "natural" ones. or whatever you want to say.
Honestly, I think the question of whether or not you choose to use drugs to "enhance" your abilities is up to each individual. I don't take anything. I don't think it helps me. If anything, it blocks intuition in me or mars it. But that's not to say it doesn't work for some. I rarely even drink, and I try to stay away from a lot of "heavy" foods: red meats, lots of fats, junk food, sweets, etc. But I have to have my coffee and tea, although I try to stear clear of a lot of carbonated drinks. It's not necessarily that I believe this helps my abilities, but it's that a healthy mind and body allows the flow of psychic energy to go through, unblocked. Too much stress, not enough sleep, PMS, bouts of depression and anxiety... they all bog my abilities down. And forget about antidepressants! They block psychic abilities and creative abilities and desires to persue them. Again, this is just me.... everyone is different.
Peyote opened my eyes and dropped my jaw in amazement, when I was 20 years old. That was when I realized for the first time the concrete reality of psychic/spiritual experience. But Psygrunge's question "will it work in the morning" was exactly my issue. I wanted to have the same kinds of experiences without the drugs. So I quit. And finally, almost 20 years later, I started to have the same kinds of experiences while totally straight.
