how has rainbow changed your life

    i have not made it to a gathering yet, but the few rainbows i have met nearby are wonderful spirits. For someone who has a hard time connecting with people, I cant describe how much it meant to me to find those that i can identify with, that understand my weirdness and are accepting...

    No, man. that was before my time. My stepbrother and uncle knew Iris Springflower & Paul, & talked about it. The idea sounded really cool to me. Modak and last year at Colo. were my first nationals.

    Wow, hippies are alive and well and growing it sounds like. I have never been to a rainbow gathering but I am sure someday I will. It makes me happy watching the videos about hurricane Katrina and how the rainbows helped out. I don't remember seeng any of that on cnn or any other news channel, hmm, surprising, lol. This
    just proves that our ideas and views do work. We can come together as a family and take care of each other. We can survive outside of capitalism. We can go back to the basics and actually have a better life.Hopefully I will be able to go to a gathering soon but in the meantime, peace and safe travels to all those making the journey.
