So I went downtown. Some good dancin' music. I spent the little eatin' money I had on what turned out to be sugar. I was hopin' for better. So then ... I had lots of fun ... danced hard ... my crush turned me down rough ... then I met what I thought was a friend ... he said he'd give me good for 20 bucks ... he disappeared, but well, I did ask him at least for a ride home. So on the walk home, I called on the pay telephone the number that rhymes with pine-done-done. I asked quickly if they had enough dispatchers for emergencies. He said yes, so I tried to engage him in a conversation about what plants were legal to smoke and which weren't. He hung up. Talk about rejection. So ... there's a button on campus to push. I pushed it. Of course, I made sure she didn't need to attend to harmed people. When she said it was slow, I asked HER about the legal/non-legal plants to smoke. She didn't understand at first ... so I said ... well tobacco's legal to smoke, right? But mahhhhhhhhreeeeeeehuuuuana isn't??? She rebuked me. Said it was a "DRUG." So, I said, ok, but, psylocybin, like mushrooms is a drug like that, right??? She mostly confirmed ... AND she had several "drugs are bad m'kay?" lines ... Anyways, so I said ... but psylocybin mushrooms can help you see God ... and she said she didn't need that to see God, and so I congratulated her hardily. She had the cops out quick after me. I told her I might have to run into the bushes. Was actually a mucky stream and all in the bushes. So, when the cops caught up with me, I was very friendly. They said I obviously ran across the creek based on the muck on my legs. That made me laugh. I complimented them often on their wit. So one of the (two) officers gave me a ride the rest of the way home. I was happy and grateful with her. We all had a good night, despite the difficult world. Hope you all had a great night. Peace and Love, Ryvr
I wish I could have captured the whole conversation with the dispatch woman on the speaker. I told her she should read Castaneda. At least try the mushrooms!! She never had.
