watch a movie with sex in it. go to a galery and look for sex. look up japanesse art, it's full of sex. india too i think. you are 15 so u have time to figure it out. iognore wat you see in porno. i'm sure thats wat you think of when u think of sex. and to me its art. or an art form. or a guessing game. or mad monkey love. do the rabbit yea.

 

yeah, i agree with meishka. sex is an art form of it's own. i think that erotica is an art form as well. not porn, but erotic art. i make erotic art, although it is digitalized, i still believe without colors or effects added on, it is still art. hope you can understand what we mean...

You have to have sex to make a human. Making a human being has to be the ultimate creative act. Well, one of them, anyway.

Plus, like an art form, it can intoxicate you with an array of sensory delights to evoke all kinds of emotional responses, it can be deeply meaningful, or just deep, or just entertaining, or just fun (though, of course, it doesn't have to be any of these things). Like the greatest art, the greatest sex can transcend venues, techniques, expectations, preconceptions, time and space, self and other, to give everyone involved a glimpse of nirvana.

There is no real difference between practice, play, and performance, but if you do it enough you can get really good at it. Like singing, dancing, playing a musical instrument, painting, writing etc., most people are shy about doing it with an "audience," no matter how much they practice when they're alone, but they are usually a lot better at it than they think . . . and the ones who are "bad" at it are usually just trying to find their passion for a form that just doesn't quite fit their "talent."

"Art" is a relative term... As defined by dictionary.com (the definition relative to this discussion):

"The conscious production or arrangement of sounds, colors, forms, movements, or other elements in a manner that affects the sense of beauty, specifically the production of the beautiful in a graphic or plastic medium."

Just because you don't agree with a certain form of art, doesn't mean that it is not art. I don't care for Picasso, however, I recognize that his paintings are art...

Is there someone (even the artist him/herself?) who appreciates the artist's efforts? If so, then it is art.

Because with some art forms, you must be mature and responsible to fully appreciate its beauty. If you are both of these things, then you don't have to worry about being called a slut or having your parents forbid it...although personally, I would not want my 15 year old to be having sex.

i don't think u can define art. we spent a whole period in art history disscussing it. think of the urinal. a self proclaimed artist gave a gallery a urinal and heres my peice. they were aren't you even going to sign it? so he wrote mutt 99 on it. then he gave them a shovel and they ccepted that so who's to say wat is art and wat isn't.

 

sex is simply a temptation designed to make us feel inadequate in every way. i wish i didnt like it so much because it really sucks.

As has been said already, it all depends on your outlook on it. Technically, anything in the world could be art, but then there are some purists who only accept something as art if it follows the rules. Music is art, poetry is art, and obviously, sex could as well be art.

And yeah, going back to the original question...I've always believed sex is art. It's one of the most beautiful forms of self-expression to exist. Sex is passion, it's splashes of color, lines drawn and traced, shades emerging and submerging, arms flown wildly, shape and sound, pleasure and pain...yes, it's art.

Sex can be a very beautiful thing, as can nude art in general. Personally, I find the form of bodies rather artistic and beautiful. It can be done tastelessly, of course. But that has its purpose, too (we don't all have a boyfriend or girlfriend, you know!)
