I think this quiz is better than the liberal/conservative quiz that was posted. It's divided on three axes instead of one: Give yourself 10 points for every "Agree", 5 points for every "Maybe", and 0 points for every "Disagree." If some of the questions seem trivial, it's because the test tries to gauge your overall political philosophy, which is not necessarily dependent on the latest political issues. X-AXIS - ECONOMIC FREEDOM: Do you have the right to... 1. Offer or accept any particular wage? 2. Hire or not hire a foreign worker, or worker of a certain race? 3. Gamble for money? 4. Not insure your car? 5. Purchase foreign-made products? 6. Run a business at home? 7. Not give money to public welfare? 8. Support a foreign country? 9. Not contribute to social security? 10. Hire an unlicensed contractor? Y-AXIS - PERSONAL FREEDOM: Do you have the right to... 1. See or buy a pornographic video? 2. Not wear a seatbelt or motorcycle helmet? 3. Not send your child to school? 4. Have an abortion? 5. Own a handgun? 6. Have any sexual relations with consenting adults? 7. Travel to any foreign country? 8. Use unapproved medical treatments? 9. Use marijuana or other drugs for recreational purposes? 10. Not wear a swimsuit? Z-AXIS - POLITICAL FREEDOM: Do you have the right to... 1. Vote or decline to vote in elections? 2. Contribute any amount of money you see fit to politicians or causes? 3. Be compensated for the public use of your property? 4. Refuse the public use of your property? 5. Decline to serve on juries? 6. Vote your conscience while on a jury? 7. Decline to serve in the military? 8. Obey only lawful orders while in the military? 9. Resist tyrannical acts or unjust laws by force if necessary? 10. Decline to pay taxes? Now total up your points for all three axes. Again, every "Agree" is worth ten points, every "Maybe" is worth five points, and every "Disagree" is worth zero points. If your X, Y, and Z scores are all above 50, you're a libertarian democrat. (Barry Goldwater) If your X and Y scores are above 50 but your Z score is below 50, you're a libertarian autocrat. (Ayn Rand) If your X and Z scores are above 50 but your Y score is below 50, you're a conservative democrat. (Ronald Reagan) If your X score is above 50 but your Y and Z scores are below 50, you're a conservative autocrat. (Benito Mussolini) If your Y and Z scores are above 50 but your X score is below 50, you're a liberal democrat. (Tony Blair) If your Y score is above 50 but your X and Z scores are below 50, you're a liberal autocrat. (Fidel Castro) If your Z score is above 50 but your X and Y scores are below 50, you're an authoritarian democrat. (George W Bush) If your X, Y, and Z scores are all below 50, you're an authoritarian autocrat. (Kim Jong-il) My results from this quiz are: X-90, Y-95, Z-80. So I'm a libertarian democrat.
I still think this website has a better quiz. It may only be two axes but it's more in depth, IMO. http://www.politicalcompass.org/
Not very scientific, I think, but funny and interesting, nonetheless. You've put a lot of work into this, haven't you? That's cute. This one is not perfect, but at least it take into account more than the common liberal/conservative: http://www.orgburo.com/pofoquiz/pofo.php
