How long can you leave a blister

before you pop it?

I've resisted bursting a huge golf ball sized burn blister on the palm of my hand for over 2 days now, but I think it will have to go soon.

 

it depends...its usually 50-50 for me...

 

make sure your hands are clean, and the thing you use to pop it is styerial. you get the staph infection..

blood may get infected if you break it..
im sure you got some first aid stufff. Alcohol, peroxide ects..

 

I like popping blisters. I would do it man.

 

It's clear. I grabbed the exhaust of my motorbike shortly after switching off the engine. It's just a burn but fuck did it sting yesterday and the day before.

A. Came looking for you. Hope you took care of the blister thing. Early on someone recommended keeping it clean and using something sterile... I agree! Be sure if it's popped to keep it aired (not bandaged) and dry, throw alcohol on it periodically. Hope to hear from you soon... Look forward to your next musings: Hell's Blister or perhaps the title should be Sister Blister (in case you have grown fond of it). Anyway, guess challenges come and go. Hope this one proves to be a minor one! Take care of yourself.

normally i obsess over blisters and end up popping them within a day of their appearance. my last blister i was actually able to leave until it went away on its own, much to my pride.

a blister that size in that location would be a huge pain in the ass though; i would certainly pop it ASAP.
