ehm.. get ready for what? Like in the morning, to get out of the door? Normally I like to wake up nice and slow.. glass of water.. checking email.. stuff like that.. so it may take a full hour just from getting up to getting out of the door.. but when I really need to, I can be up and gone in less than half an hour (including quick breakfast and shower).. I don't use make-up and my hair hardly needs a brush.. it's very long and straight and because I wear it in a braid at night, so it isn't tangled in the morning..
If I skip the shower in the morning then it takes me about 10 minutes to get ready and then another 10 minutes I spend feeding the cat/washing her bowls and spending a little time with her before I leave.
Hey.. you changed your FP.. now it looks like I can't read! Hehe.. but yeah.. if I have to: 20 minutes.. if I'm not in a rush.. as long as I want.. basically If I don't need to go out of the house that day, I just wear my baggy house pants and stuff.. can't really go downtown in those clothes What about yourself?
About 20 minutes including a shower and my coffee. I get my clothes ready ahead so it is turn on the coffee, jump in the shower, pour coffee, dress, put on my makeup and gel my hair, put in my contacts and gulp and go. Works for me.
Depends what I'm doing... often I take an hour or longer (if I end up checking mail, checking the forums, etc) but I can be out in 15 minutes.
LOL...let's see it takes me about an hour to get ready, without my kids. With my kids, it takes about 2 1/2 to 3 hours, just to get out the door.
If I really have somewhere to be, maybe about 5 mins to shower, 15-20 to get ready and go. Otherwise...I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE showers, and would literally spend all day having a shower if I could lol. Most mornings, if I wake up early enough to enjoy it before class, I'll take nice hour long hot showers and just...ahhh
Typically I wake up at 5:42 and am out the door at exactly 7:07 (don't ask). However, on days when I don't feel like getting up, or it's too cold to get up, I'll skip a shower and can be out the door in 15 minutes. I don't eat breakfast typically so that helps me get out the door faster.
At least an hour, preferably 2. When I can, I prefer to get up, have breakfast (which generally takes half an hour, from the time I get to the kitchen till I'm done eating), drink a cup or 2 of hot tea while either playing online or reading for school (which can take 20-40 min., depending on how much time I have), shower (only about 10 min here because this place has a shitty water heater, I prefer more like 20 min.), then get dressed, brush my teeth, put shoes on, let the dog out to do her thing, etc. (time depends on whether I remember to put her out before doing all the rest!). In a hurry, I'll shower first, get dressed, do breakfast, & take my tea to go, but that only gets me down to an hour. Breakfast is non-negotiable for me, & quick stuff like a bowl of cereal just leaves me hungry in half an hour!
the bare minimum to get ready? 15 to 20 minutes. Given my druthers... an hour and a half or so. I like to have two cups of coffee in the morning, slowly. Shower. Read my email/post on here/play silly games. Do makeup, pack my bag for school, pack a lunch if humanly possible.
45 minutes including the time it takes to drag my ass out of bed, shower, dry my hair (it's long) and get my clothes on. I usually skip breakfast.
Well, it takes me at the very LEAST an hour, but that's because I rarely go anywhere without my three little ones in tow, and trying to get us all out the door is a pretty involved process. If my husband and I go out for the evening without the kids, it still takes me at least an hour, because I spend more time pampering myself and enjoying the whole experience of getting ready for a night out alone with my hubby. Peace.
I can't take a shower in the morning because I'm weird and always cold (even if it's like 75 degrees out, I'm shivering with a sweater and long, thick skirt on), so that takes off about half an hour. I get out of bed at 6.50 and am usually out the door between 7.15-7.20... so roughly half an hour
it really depends on what I'm doing that day it could be 15 minutes if i just have class or it could be over an hour if I have an event at work.
