How Long Does Morphine Stay in Your System?

    SWIM has a drug test Monday morning. He took 120mg of morphine sulfate, extended release but chewed the pills in his mouth before swallowing them at about 9:30pm wednesday night. He is familiar with the detection time for heroin. Does SWIM need to be concerned? He feels that it should be the same as with heroin and has done heroin before having a similiar amount of time before the test and passed. SWIM is about 5'7" and 135lb, pretty slim, and 20 years old. :willy_nilly:

    EDIT: Pill imprint is ABG on one side, 30 on the other. Sortof purple color. IF this were heroin, he doesnt think there would be any reason to worry.

    No problem. I think it's 72 hours or so.

    heroin converts to morphine so the detection time should be the same, about 3-4 days

    actually the drug test is tuesday morning not monday, so SWIM has another extra day to get the morphine out.
