How many children do you want?

Lately, I only have wanted one. All of a sudden I want another. I think I definitely do NOT want more than two.

Very tough question. I can not answer that at the moment, would need some more thought.

But my boyfriend wants to have kids so I might be convinced otherwise at some point. If I do have kids I would want one boy and one girl.

 

I never wanted children, yet I ended up having two with my ex husband. He wanted 5. I am satisfied with the two I had but seem to have been adopted by many other people's children along the way. I am now ready to just be a Grandma someday.

 

i dunno. i think it would be cool to have some kids, but i suspect it probably won't happen and i'm not particularly upset about that. if i did, i would ideally want no fewer than 2 and no more than 3.

 

I had hoped to have 3 but that was not to be. I have a daughter and a son and feel very lucky to have honour of being their mom.

 

I'd really like one. No more than 3, though. I don't know for sure that I'll have any at all, and even though I'm way not in a financial state to raise a kid on my own, I wouldn't be upset if I did get pregnant. Not that I'm trying by any means, but I'm not freaked the hell out by the idea anymore.

 

Just the one I have already! I like it as just us two.

My sister-in-law announced she was pregnant in August and she's due in a couple of weeks and I have just been on cloud 9 ever since I heard. It's been getting even better since they've been sending home pictures of the sonograms and they have a name and all. I've wanted to be an aunt way more than I've ever wanted to be a mom, and I'm very impatient to meet my niece. I just hope she waits a few more weeks, so I can have my tax return back so I can be down there for the first few days after she goes home. I can catch a ride with one of the in-laws, but I'm not sure I'm looking forward to a trip that normally takes 6 hours with frantic new grandparents. I think I'd rather take my own car, lol.
