How many of you are actually hippies?

I was wondering if the majority of the people on this site are hippies or not.. At first, i didn't even knew this was a hippie forum, i just searched forums on the internet, as i was in need to talk to someone.. But from what i have seen around here, everyone seems really cool and open minded.. There's a few stuff i don't agree with, like legalized drugs, and a few other things the majority of you guys like (don't take me for one of those "oh he thinks we just do drugs, he's dumb") , i know you don't, it's just something i don't like in the hippie community, but apart from that, you guys are awesome . So, how many of you real hips are out there ?

i live in a tent in the woods cuz corporate america sucks, the system sucks, and it's easy here.
i make jewelry and sell it to ppl downtown all the time for money.
dont smoke weed too much, but drink hella beer.
when i was a kid i ran away from home, and lived on haight ashbury for a couple months.
i also 2 years ago said "fuck it" quit my job, went to norcal (pot country) and lived on the cliffs overlooking the pacific ocean.

Heh... Just because some of us use drugs it doesn't make us lesser or bad people. Sure you may not agree with our choices, and that might be something you dislike, but if you're coming onto a "hippie" forum (I don't like labelling myself as a hippie but I'll do it now just to make a point") with "hippies" then you will find people who have experimented with drugs. It's a fact. If you don't like it, ignore it. I'm not trying to be an ass here dude, but just try not to think about it. Put it out of your head completely. Makes it easier to get on with people if you're not hung up about it. Sure, have an opinion, but try not to get uppity about stuff. I'd be more than willing to talk to you despite the fact you're against something I am for (legalization for medical and recreational use) if you're chill about it. It's all cool.

 

I think that gets you in the door as a legit hippie. Damn I'm jealous of you...lol

That's my problem Slappy...I'm a closet hippie...I find it hard to belong to any identity as such...I don't mean to slander people with my own delusions of who I am or am not...I'm not really one to sign up for anything that could classify me as anything...Hey?...Does that make me a hippie?...Maybe it does...I hope I get there in the end.Is this the "hippie paradox"?
