how many of you fools actually went shopping today?

i sure as hell didnt! there is NO WAY id step foot into a mall or something on black friday.

im about half afraid to step foot outta my house...hehe

 

NOOOOO way i hate crowds. I do have to pick up an outfit before dec first though I have a weird event I have to go to. I am trying to figure out the day that would be least crowded before than. My mom already ordered it for me I just have to run in and make sure I like it so hopefully it won't be too bad crowd wise

ah i love the internet. cause i hate crowded noisy malls filled with angry old ladies and 12 year old sluts. online shopping is the way!

 

i didn't go shopping today because A) i'm not insane, and B) i don't have any shopping money. i was actually hoping to have all of our christmas shopping done already, so i could avoid the whole ordeal, but i didn't make it in time. i'm going to have to venture out sometime between now and christmas.

 

oooh I hate the teenage girls. It's like shut up the last thing I wanna hear you talk about is blow jobs when i am trying on clothes have some fucking self respect. they talk so loud in the dressing room so everyone can hear them and the way the rooms are designed at most of the stores here you shouldn't hear anyone-but they purposefully want everyone to know that they posses no morals.

 

the best time to go is on a week day during the day. that's the ONLY time i will step foot into a mall between now and christmas... and im not even looking forward to that.

 

I just need to find my younngest brother a skateboard. One that is "hardcore" but contains no images that my parents will freak out over. yeah he's a poseur, but all skaters were at first, 'cept them z boys.

 

are you near los angeles or san diego? if so I know of a few places that sell skate boards. I was quite the poser myself when I was a kid...I still wear DC's I can't break that middle school habit ):

 

I am in Virginia today, but my brother lives in riverside, smack dab between the two. ( san diego and La that is)
Yeah I was a posuer for a little while, that is why I understand him. mom and pop dont wanna shell out the money for a good board, and he wont accept a walmart one. I as the oldest brother must rush in to the rescue. once he gets his first he will just have to replace peices and that is money moms and pops will be willing to part with. I am getting him a hardcore starter kit for xmas. his bday is in jan so he is gonna get skate dvds for that, but he must have a board first.

 

haha, i went thru a skateboarding phase when i was 16 and 17 but i never was any good. it took me MONTHS to learn how to ollie and then one day i remember i let my little brother try my board and he learned to ollie in less then 5 mins.

I have ridden skate boards since like 78. started with them itty bitty fiberglass jobs fromm the 70's. in 7th grade I needed a real one, but mom and dad were balking like they are now, so I I made my first two decks in woodshop. They didnt mind buying me the trucks and wheels and other hardware ( in the 80s we put too much shit on our decks, rails and nose guards and silly shit). actually, except fot the mark gonzales vision deck that alex threw in when I bought 3 sets of trucks from him, all my boards were home made. the last one I bought a premade blank, traced the new ( its the 80s so notso new anymore) Tony Hawk shape had my moms cabinetmaker friend shape it and finish it for me, and rode that for like 7 years. Onew of my little brothers traded it fo pokemon cards I think, I left it at my parent when I joined the navy.

 

My stepsister went, and she said it was insane. She told me all about it.....lol, too bad I've already done most of my christmas shopping, because I woulda loved to see that shit.

 

Nah, I'ld say get him the DVDs first, then he'll watch them and get all pumped and for his birthday he can get the surprise board. Build anticipation!

I'm not going hsopping today... going for a walk in the woods, maybe climb a cell tower and enjoy the view, then watch a movie all with a friend I haven't seen in a while. Not like I have money to shop anyway =P

 

ahhh that's sad that your brother traded it ): sounds cool though. I didn't a lot I just would if i was around others who would I sucked but I just hated those girls who would sit there and just look at the boys ya know. I read this article in the LA times a few weeks ago in the opinions section and it talked about how this women's studies teacher went to observe little girls at skate parks and that the ones who observed were more likely to be sexualy active ect and the one's who skated with the boys were more likely to have long term but celibate high school romances. Those girls who watched are now the women I see everyday who marry too young and don't mantian their own idenity or who don't finish school-even as an adult I skate (not literally) as oppose to watch the boys.

 

I worked at a target for 4 years, and I loved today, as an employee. It was sheer fucking chaos. so much fun.

 

When I still skated, there were NO girls. I mean some would watch, but none skated, but after I moved to a really hilly place and discovered drugs, it appears many girls started skating, where I grew up. I do agree with the sexually active part though, the girls that would just come and watch, yeah, they liked sex. Thats why they were there, scoping for their next man(boy).

 

yes im insane i went to old navy today. it wasnt too bad i mean there was alot of people but i got my stuff then got the hell out.

 

I havent even left the house today..... way too many ppl out there to smoke weed.....but later I do want to go on a burn cruise.
