How many of you guys have short hair?

My hair is nearly buzzed and I have my girlfriend shave it about every 3 weeks. How many of you guys have short hair? I know it would be a minority of you, if any.

 

I can do, and on a yearly basis zip it right off.

But at present my hair is long, and pretty strange actually

 

i do most of the time. I've never grown my hair out actually

 

got my shortest haircut of my life just last week...#8 clippers (1") on top and #4 (1/2") sides and back

 

i do, but not by choice.

I do, I had it long, but decided to cut it, and now I'm growing it out again...
Pretty entertaining in my opinion

I used to have it short because my parents made me cut it. Now its long.

It will never be short again.

Same here... I shave my head in the warm seasons to have some more cooling - plus, it nicely reinforces my appearance of a big barefoot grinning buddha...

However, in one year (2007), the summer was sort of missing, the weather went from a wet and cold spring to a wet and cold fall, and in that year I didn't shave my head at all... and so I ended up like this:

Short hair here, short as anyone will shave it, and it's a refreshing change. I doubt I will ever grow it back now.

I had long hair most of my adult life; my son, I think, had the longest hair in his school. Our family was well known for that tendency. We both cut it all off about a years and a half ago. My wife (his mom) was sick with cancer and lost her hair having a brain tumor cut out. So me and my son said we'd cut off all our hair-- but only if people put up a thousand dollars to see us do it-- as a fund-raiser for the ACS. They raised way more than that, so we did the haircuts, let the patient do the honors from her hospital room, video'd it, and put it up on YouTube for those who couldn't attend.

I keep what's left of my hair short now. About once a month take clippers to my head (beard and hair same clippers)



In the early '70s (see profile pic below) it was shoulder length, but that was a hassle to maintain, so from the late '70s onward I've kept it short.

 

just got my hair cut yesterday #3 razor guard all the way around fuck long hair it gets in the way

 

During motorcycle season I buzz it with a 1/4" or 1/8" inch guard, though one seems too long and the other too short. Need to find 3/8" guard I suppose.

My 4 year old daughter loves Bob Marley, so I'm thinking about growing me some dreads this fall/winter. Not sure that would work for me though, what with my very straight, very fine hair. Worth a try, anyway, and it would make Carly happy!

 

I've got short hair at the moment, the reason being that because it gets hugely hot in the summer since its über curly. Going to let it grow in autumn though. Afro here I come
