same. have since i was about 12, didn't discover weed until i was 14 though, so during 7th-8th grade I missed a lot of school. Soon as I found out about weed I started missing less school because I was able to get good sleep, except for the times when I got caught and had to quit smoking for 4-5 months, then it was back to missing school again. My parents just found out i was using weed to get to sleep a couple weeks ago and took me to a sleep doctor, got some sleeping pills but only a 2 week supply so I'm almost out, dunno what the fuck i'm gonna do when they run out...
I wish I could.. but I can't fall asleep stoned, and when I'm burnt out, forget it. I have to take 10mg melatonin just to make me drowsy. But I do notice that smoking helps me stay asleep and sleep longer.. which isn't always a good thing. I used to wake up at the drop of a pin, but ever since I've been an almost daily smoker I'll sleep through a fuckin' earthquake (I slept through a ridiculous multi-car accident that happened literally right outside my OPEN window last summer, ambulance sirens and all). I also seem to need 12-14 hours of sleep a night or I can't function. This has been the ONLY bad side effect of weed I've ever experienced. But I guess it comes with the territory...
i do on occasion, but it's just to smooth the transition from being awake to being ready to sleep. i don't have insomnia, i am just quite nocturnal, the later i stay up, the more awake i become...it's weird but i've been using jwh recently, and i enjoy it more because unlike marijuana i am able to remember my dreams
My experience to a tee. Once in a while I'll just say "screw it" and kick on the coffee and start my day. Pull an over nighter and the following sleep is usually nice, deep, and uninterrupted. Why fight a battle I'm not going to win?
I do that sometimes. Not as much as I used to though. I usually just end up eventually going to sleep on the couch and waking up anywhere from 11am to 2-3pm. lol I woke up at about 2:15pm today, since I couldn't get to sleep until 7:30 this morning.
Same here. Those few weeks I was in rehab were spent staying awake all night and going to sleep after morning meditation at about 6-7am.
to go to sleep...to wake up...to ''first''nap... also second nap...basically if i am awake i am planning the next doob ...i love smoking weed....
i'd have to disagree. i used to smoke as my sleep aid a lot, but recently it's just worked against me and i can't sleep unless i'm really really burnt out. however, 100 mg of diphenydramine helps a whole lot
Diphenhydramine doesn't work very well for me, since I used to take 775mg at a time. lol It got to the point where it doesn't even make me sleepy anymore.
when i have weed i always try and save it for the night so i can smoke and it can help me fall asleep. ive tried ambien but that doesnt really help as much as weed does and dph doesnt really make me tired at all unless i take a lot
