How Often Have You Been In Love

I am not one who is normally a "downer" or thinks a lot of depressing thoughts that bring others down but I am human and like everyone else have aspects of my life that I am not satisfied with. One thing is my inability to connect with others on an emotional/sexual level. I do not like to open up and I do not like to be touched because it causes a lot of discomfort for me but I wish that I had the capability to be a romantic loving person. Not that I'm not loving but to be able to open up to someone and love them on a deeper level. However, I have been lucky to have been in love atleast once in my life. So I was wondering, how many times has everyone else been in love. Please vote and if you feel comfortable post your age with how many times you've been in love below. I am 22 and have been in love once. I think that is a good amount of times to have been in love for my age but I am often concerned that I do not have the ability to fall in love again. Feel free to post any stories or advice below too.

I can't remember. I've been with the same old fart for 36 years but I'm sure there were other love/lust things before that

love is emotional - lust is physical

 

About half a dozen times-I'd have to think about it, actually. Some of my exes, I think about them often, remember good times we had, wonder what they're doing now, if they ever think about me-but I've got a wife and 3 kids, so they keep me kinda busy, so I don't have a lot of time to reminisce about the past-but I do think about them, though.

But when I was a teen (and younger), I thought every other crush was love. So my answer would've been way different then =P

haha it's good too see everyone else is on the same page as me... I just have a lot of girlfriends who date a lot more often then I do and I wanted to make sure I was normal haha

I tend to fall in love harder the better they are at the sucky sucky

 

I have been in love only once, and I dont think I will ever feel it again and I made it a personal choice also to not feel it.
