Say all the shit we sayin starts happening FAST (it will and is).... say you see too many civil liberies becoming jokes.. people waking up all over n being too afraid to do shit so they get worse...
SAY IT ACTUALLY WAS HAPPENING. the world is never the same. you can see it with your own eyes... what i wanna know is..

would you run n hide or FIGHT for freedom?

dont answer too fast. it took me a long time to truly KNOW id fight for freedom anyday. I guess I'm just curious how many of you would risk your reputation and your life for what you think is right... or if your own personal life is all that matters to you and as long as you got yours?

" Son, remember when you fight to be free
To see things how they are and not how you like em to be
Cause even when the world is falling on top of me
Pessimism is an emotion, not a philosophy
Knowing what's wrong doesn't imply that you right
And its another, when you suffer to apply it in life
    But I'm no rookie
And I'm never gonna make the same mistake twice pussy"

i'm convinced that by being conned into belligerance is how we are being robbed of our freedom. so i don't see how more of the same is going to restore it.

what i see as being needed is to stop nourishing the problem, stop creating a market for it. unless and until we do that, develop a culture that doesn't create incentives for people to want to rob each other's freedom, any improvement gained by chainge of government or idiology is going to be just as temporary as those in the past have proven to be.

i believe it can be done. i believe it will be done.

what was won, gained, in the 60s, was by BOYCOTTING aggressiveness, not encouraging and perpetuating it. of course people did have to take certain kinds of well calculated risks, and did so, and many of them DID end up dead or imprissoned, so i'm not saying anything agianst that, but just tearing down something because it looks like a target of opportunity because by some popular myth or rumor it MIGHT be connected with some source of harm, i mean, that's what people who don't look very far tend to do.

i think one thing we've got to realize, is that we can't count on ANY idiology to prevent tyranny. people get so emotionally attatched to what the're familiar with (or conversely, though less often, what they think sounds good) that it seems such a completely daunting task to get this through their thick heads.

but that's one of the first things its going to take to get anywhere. the myrical of the 60s, and it was thanks largely in part to a demographic bulge of young people that made it possible, but not just that they were young, but that they were not afraid to think, or maybe afraid not to, with the damoclean sword of military conscription hanging over their heads.

i think there is a point that the op hit on, that comes pretty close, the idea of a tradeoff between personal comfort and the kind of world we all have to live in.

but its not even such a matter of personal comfort and safety, as of seeing through and not remaining conned into putting persuit of illusory gratifications that arn't even actually there, ahead of how it is that we actually do create the incentives, all of us togather, that motivate decision makers to create the kinds of policies that are creating the kinds of conditions we are seeing.

personal wealth may be all well and good, or mostly harmless as the case might be, and i wouldn't even mind having some, but it CAN'T undo the messedupness that persuing symbolic wealth exclusively, at the expense of everything else, has created.

Haha zoomie. it's a random thought. IF the "conspiracies" that i see as reality but whateer were IN YOUR FACE to the point where it wasnt "conspiracy" but TRUTH... would you fight or run? I think it's hard as fuck to fight for freedom. Prolly the most difficult thing a person can do cause you GOTTA have an ego death and the death of fear.

themnax..unfortuanlly i dont think being PEACEFUL n not buying into it will EVER help freedom n human rights. It's a sad pill to swallow. I just don't think you CAN be peaceful and have results in this game.

zoomie. if you SAW it ... what would you do.. fight knowing you could die or not fight knowing you'd never truly live?

if you SAW IT. Has nothing to do with what is "real" or not.. if it happened in front of your eyes...what would you do?

it sounds to me like you've been conned into equating being rational and nonbeligerant with passivity. and that is precisely the con that is why and how we are loosing it!

i'm not talking about, suggesting, doing nothing. not even remotely anything of the sort. i am talking however about avoiding irrational violence, that only nourishes precisely the very loss of freedom and causes of it.

if there were anything that striking out against could solve the problem, it would have been solved once and for all a long time ago.

it's culturally endemic. we perpetuate the incentives promote precisely the kinds of policies that erode and destroy freedom.

there is no such thing as "fighting" the loss of freedom, without "fighting" the creation of incentives for being robbed of it.

I guess I just just wanna know if you would have the balls to fight knowing your life was at risk...
Think about the Hitler n all that shit... most people stood around complacent due to fear... I'm SURE they were scared shitless but there were helpers every where that did their thing cause they weren't scared.... Personally I'd be scared. I am scared. But fuck me in a bad way if I ever cared about MY LIFE and said safety (and its all ironic, fighting to be free CAN create freedom), more then I cared about the overall state. I dont think that many people fought before though... which is sad....

id die NOW if i could be a part of a real cause that is larger then myself.

Open yer eyes n youll see it real. Fuck i've been pepper sprayed n went to jail. It was nothing. Human rights violations happen every day every second really... it's nothing new. I saw it happen to peace loving hip hop heads, ravers that fight for their freedom in the ghettos, the rainbows... fuck it dont matter n that's all petty shit.

Have you never felt something coming before it happened or do you wait for "proof".

waiting for "PROOF".. is sick.. it'll be too late by that time.

I'll fight. I'm already armed to the teeth as it is. I could hold off a small army for at least a week with that I've got. But I'll need extraction after that time

"LUCKY what are you DOING? talk is cheap"

    ummm
words arent always cheap. power in numbers. i never in my life said i had the solution. but ill fight for the right cause.

and remember IN THIS COUNTRY WE HAVE EVERY RIGHT!!! TO OVER THROW AN OPPRESIVE GOV.

the time for that GIFT...a humans right gift is almost gone though.

people are doing that now. "the state" and the corporate media, call them terrorists, just like the inquisition called them witches and got gullible peasants to burn them, after confiscating their land or what have you.

but you see, that's what i'm getting at, bravery alone, risk taking, no i'm sorry, i just don't see that as creating freedom at all.

maybe we're just not using the same definicans of terms. that seems almost inevitable that we are.

if i was going to die anyway, would i what to take a few of the bastareds with me? sure, but who? how? how can you tell who it would be effective to take? and would taking anyone?

the point is, there really is a way, it just isn't by killing or destroying, and yet, even by saying, mentioning such things, we're all, everyone who is trying to be honest, is facing and shairing that risk, whatever we do or don't.

the kinds of actions ghandi undertook, they involved lots of risk, they just didn't involve carrying a gun.

see, I want my fight to be messy. Home made explosives....... close quarter fighting with shotguns..... those always make a mess. Seriously though, if the russians invaded, I'd probably join their side, but only because there is this really awesome little town in Russia that I want to move to so bad, and the only way i'll ever get citizenship that easy is to fight on their side, become a war hero to them, and live the happy life in Novokuznetsk

its all glorious and heroic to give your life, but what are you willing to live without?

pain, gory and glory, but what about a life of LIVING 'martyrdom'?

what if the latter were, as it all the more likely IS, the only way the fight could be won?
