yesterday at school my headmaster(or principle) declared that he was going to bring a barber to school on monday to buzz off all the guys hair who he had told to cut but hadnt. Aparently he thinks shoulder length hair is outrageus. So i was wondering how should i protest this shallow act. He thinks that the school doesnt have a good image if our hair is so long. So how should i protest?!
well, if it is dress code, the you are poop outa luck... but if it says no where in the student dress code about hair length, you could always, or i dunno...skip monday jut wear it in a pony-tail...or pig-tails...that way, even if it comes off, you had a good laugh about it... or tell him you are growing it for "Locks of Love" for cancer paitents, but then it would be pretty stupid to lie about something liek that, so you would have to do it then... arrggg...why am i giving real advice? protesting hair length at school is kinda...errrm, dumb
You have a paper at your school? North Korea did the same thing about a year ago. Compare him to Kim Jong Ill in the paper. It doesn't have to make that much sense. http://times.hankooki.com/lpage/opinion/200503/kt2005031416354154140.htm
yo, are u fucking kidding me? ur saying in indiana its against the school rules to express yourself... in my school kids wear leather jackets, skin tight pants and mohawks, and crazy colored hair w/ piercings all over them, some even have tatoos on them.. i mean cmon, ur allowed to be urself, and like ur own hair... if 1 of the kdis at my school was told they had to cut there hair, theyd slap the shit out of ur " head master"
my parents forced me to go to a private school man but the school rules handbook doesnt talk about long hair in it.
No, no its not. Anyway if i was one of those dudes i'd just refuse....hey what can they do? My school were Nazi's over hair and i did have to get a cut...but i only lost like 3 inches and left school about 4 monthes later
I'd probably laugh at the headmaster.... Is he actually serious? He's being sexist if girls are allowed long hair and guys arent....

haha u did say the thingy for three times hun!! laughin at him will maybe not the right sollution, but at first i think i'll laugh aswell (i'm a girl but when he's sayin tht in front of all people in the school.. i think i'll laughvery hard hihi)
nooo...girls are sposed to have long everything...long hair, long skirts..............i remember when they came thru with a ruler to measure our skirts at school....we were all pulling them as far down as we could so they'd be long enough.
omfg....that sucks that u have to cut ur hair. But no wonder, it a private school I go to a public school where guys can have hair as long as they desire unless there in band.....
If there was not a written policy given to you in advance, he cannot address your hair length. Even then, he cannot cut it himself. Touching another person without his or her permition is assault. The worst he can do is send you home and tell you to come back with short hair. Then you can try to get your parents support to fight this fruitcake. It helps a lot if you have good grades. Talk to the local paper. Talk to the local ACLU about student rights. The best thing to do (as pointed out above) is to make him look stupid in front of the school board.
ask him if all the chicks whose hair is below shoulder length are having their heads shaved as well... then suggest in the interest of not discriminating based on sex that he consider it.. then iff he doesnt you can protest about gender discrimination and he'll get in a whole lot of shit.. apart from that refuse to let him as all rhodesian reject said and iff the barber touches you you can sue him and the school for unwanted physical contact.. no oen can touch you without your or yoru parents specific written consent.. (thats the way it is in australia any way i have no idea about the law in america but from watching judge judy i guess you can sue for anything... lol yes i am naive)
