BC of course, but seriously, near wherever you wish to go. It is a long border as you know. and the fifty or so miles that run from the ocean to Vedder Mtn. have no fence and 4 border crossing stations. I live about 5 miles north of the Sumas one.
i can tell ya that the worst place to cross into canada is the sweetgrass border crossing b/n montana and alberta. i think the nicest way to enter canada from the states is to take the anacortes ferry. it's so pretty.
As to what you'll need? IF you're going to do it Legally, you'll need a Passport, Valid ID, and NO FELONIES on your record. All this, is JUST to visit. If you're planning on staying, I suggest trying to get someone to Sponsor you.
Yeah sweetgrass is the worst always hassled there. My recomendation would be anywhere in Saskatchewan, because not to much goes on there. Peace&Love
Wow, when I passed through Sumas, we took our ID and birth certificates but they didn't even want to see the birth certificates. They took our IDs, asked where we were going and for how long, handed the IDs back and we were on our way. It couldn't be much more simple than that. I've never been greeted with any hostility what-so-ever at the border.
that would depend if on your under age in the us or canada. if your under 18 you probably wont allowed to cross without a legal gaurdian/parent but on the other hand, legal age is 18 in alberta. in the rest of canada its 19. I would say your best bet for a 'legal' under age crossing is alberta, the age of consent is only 14 out here. alberta is freeking redneck central canada.
You don't need a passport to go to Canada. i didn't need one to get to the States neway and I'd think American border people would be more anal than Canadian ones. Weed is decriminalized in Canada, which means if they catch you with it and it doesn't look like you're going to sell they juust give you a fine. It doesn't go on your record. Theres compassion clubs that sell weed to people that have prescriptions for it. thats totally legal.
damn! Canada sounds pretty cool, and esp. in light of the recent american "election." if only it wasn't so fecking cold there!
no theres new legislation going through now though that would decriminalize the growing of up to three plants, so you would see no more than a ticket, and if you got good indoors Im sure you could get like 300 grams every 3 months with hardly a legal concern, and if you got some highweilders outddoors you'd be pretty set to. Seeds are legal in Canada though
Come to the west coast, its warm here. A lil wet in the winter but flowers bloom all year round. Most of the islanders smoke weed and are very concious of the food they eat. The ones I know neway.
In Washington, there is not an age limit that I'm aware of. I have friends that live on the border and they crossed frequently at 13, 14, 15+ years old.
yeah there is no age limit... it can be really easy or really frusterating tho. i once spent 2 hours getting searched and getting questioned. border cops are one of the lower forms of policing.
Yeah. My bf has waist length dreadies and borders are always a lil tricky for him, but he always manages to get thru.
