''How to survive a shitty day'' - Stoner's Edition

    ok so... some methods


    • avoid smoking weed or drinking alcohol - both are downers and also they make the sense of your thinking even more depressing and deep.

    exceptions: 1) if you have sativa dominant strain chron you can smoke it but ONLY* if you are 100% sure its a sativa strain.
    2) Indica dominants or hash could be suggested in high doses if the shitty day doesn't get better and the only solution is sleep so the day can change.
    3) Alcohol is ONLY allowed if you are drinking it with an attractive person of the opposite sex.


    • take pills, mdma,e,codeine,xanax etc.

    i dont recommend it though because some of these can be addictive and an expensive hobby if you get hooked.
    its good only on massive shitty days like: someones death or injury, or other bad emotional stuff.


    • call friends and chill, eat watch a movie or tv or something to pause your thoughts for a while.


    • have a sick sick dinner, either by yourself or with someone special. Like something nice: a huge stake,sushi,lobster whatever you like but something you havent had in a while.


    • have couple cigarettes with a cup of coffee outside.


    • take a long drive with uplifting music at 90% on the stereo volume.


    • eat ice cream.


    • work out and then steam room.


    • make love(if unable follow manual methods)


    you can combine any of these for better effects.

    so these some of my things,most of the time work. what are you doing?

    The only thing I disagree with is when you said not to smoke weed. Getting stoned always makes me feel better when I'm having a shitty day:sifone:

    A very nostalgic moment reminded me that I used to be a bad person, therefor i am a bad person now, i just don't see it yet. I cant sleep so i am drinking.

    I don't consider this escapism, just a catalyst to hurry up my depression into gear so i can begin getting over it...

    Fuck.

    I'm pretty sure pot isn't a depressant. However it can act as one. It's generally a mood enhancer so whatever mood you are feeling prior to smoking will be magnified. However if you smoke with a bad mood with intentions of getting in a good mood I've noticed and can totally make your mood do a 180. However I am not a doctor this is just personal experience talking.

    maybe with some headphones

    realizing you used to be a bad person, or even that you are one now, is the first step to not being one anymore

    It sounds pretty good but i don't agree with you saying not to smoke weed.
    Its always made me feel better.

    weed can sometimes make things sucky. its sucky when i would need to do things. but if i just need to pass the time, for sure smoke.
    the suggestion: driving with loud music. hell ya

    'depressant' doesn't mean it makes you sad, it means it slows down certain bodily functions.. or something to that effect, which doesn't effect mood at all.

    there's no reason why smoking and/or drinking at any given time won't make you happier, unless you're in a really shit mood to begin with or have a lot on your mind.

    The only thing I dont agree with are in bold.

    Not everyone one, including me really dig cigarettes.

    And I think the thing about takign "pills" and codeine is possibly the worst advice to give.

    Yeah i accepted that its just the process, and the baggage can work as a positive example and also a reminder.




    Oh and Ciggs and coffee outside are the best. I miss that combination dearly.

    and i agree about weed being a mood "enhancer", if you're all crying and shit when you spark up, you're probably not going to have a good high...

    It's never been like that for me. No matter how I'm feeling or how bad of a day I'm having, marijuana never fails to bring a smile to my face.

    it always brings a smile to my face..but sometimes it can be a superficial smile perhaps?
    i dunno, sometimes it forces me to overthink some shit... that doesn't need to be overthought.
    different strokes for different folks i guess
